I don't know if anyone knows this fan group...but they did a good job in battle anime. Some fighting scenes are just amazing.. :shock:

I'm always impressed with Monty Oum's work. Have you seen the Haloid one? That one was great, except for the ending, which really screwed me over >_>

I LOVE THIS!!!! I first saw it on YouTube and fell in love with it right away.

The idea of this whole thing is great. I loved the end of the second part and I'm waiting for the third part.

Ahh, I saw these a couple of days ago--Monty Oum does excellent work, I absolutely LOVED Haloid--esp. the twist at the end. XD

I was kinda put off that he brought in Tifa instead of completing the trio, but it was understandable since Hitomi's their fist fighter. But then again, I was surprised he didn't bring in Aerith for Ayane since they are both using staffs.

Well, there's always hoping for her inclusion later on. It still amazes me he was able to make a fight scene more entertaining than what we got in Advent Children. XD Still more amazing that he's doing this by himself~! X_X

Lol, I didn't like Paine so I was happier to see Tifa ^_^ I prefer this Tifa to Square's though, she's so hard core xD I fangirled every time I recognized what materia she used

If Tifa had fought half that well in Advent Children, maybe she'd have beaten Loz. Unless she WAS fighting that well in AC, and Loz was simply that much better.

And if Rinoa were half that good in FF8, she'd need a lot less saving by Squall. Who apparently loaned her his old gunblade.

Kairi was wielding Oblivion+Oathkeeper.

I've got a few ideas already; but I can't enter because I'm not a member. Keep us updated on the contest as well and same goes for the next intallment.

OMG.

The Rikku/Yuna battle is very impressive.

But Dead Fantasy II tops it off. Spells, tower sliding. Potion battle, this Tifa is so AWESOME I wish he was her choreographer in AC. And made me wish X-2 were given limit breaks for Yuna and Rikku.

Rinoa and Kairi made me raise my eyebrow, as said two characters are not recognized as Action Girls. He shouldn't give Rinoa a gunblade, as she has the wings and the magic and her own weapon, but oh wells.

However, he made think that wow, Rinoa is pretty good (gaspness, hell has frozen!) and the Kairi/Rikku team up made me cheer.

Can't wait for part 3.

I've seriously watched Dead fantasy about 10 times already. I looove it.

Seriously. I stick up for Tifa's role in AC, since I understand she had to get beat for the story to go the way it did, but I do kinda feel like they jipped her. C'mon, this girl stood up to Sephiroth for chrissake, you're telling me she can't last 2 min with a clone? D:

What irks me is that Cloud can apparently handle them (on his own) and that Rude and Reno, though they do get beaten up, managed to stand on their feet regardless.

I know Tifa can handle being electrocuted and bashed into a pillar. SE apparently doesn't think so.

Well, Cloud handling them on his own makes sense.

Cloud, with his MAKO and JENOVA enhancements, is easily the strongest member of the team, along with Vincent, who proves how badass he is in Dirge.

Cloud and Vincent are far, far beyond the rest of the living members of the team in terms of power and skill. They have superpowers, the rest of the team doesn't.

Likewise, Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo have superpowers. Their powers are just inferior to Sephiroth's.

Tifa=Human. Barret=Human/Cyborg Cid=Human. Yuffie=Human. Nanaki=Lion/Dog/whateverthehell he is. Cait=Robot.

However, there's no excuse for Reno and Rude outfighting Tifa. The 4 Turks are only human themselves. In Terms of skill, Tifa>Rude.

As for why Rude was still standing and Tifa wasn't, Loz never fought with his full strength against Rude. Basically, if you don't see Loz doing that thing where blurs blue, he isn't trying hard. He never really uses Dual Hound's power against Rude either. And he never blurs against Rude. So Loz apparently judged Rude less of a threat then Tifa.

When Loz (and Yazoo) fight Cloud, he's blurring blue alright, and fighting with all he's got, and Cloud's keeping up with him, because Cloud is superhuman himself. They do call him 'big brother' for a reason. He is more then a match for any single of one of Sephy's clones, and even more then a match for 2 at a time.

In short, Tifa may be Bruce Lee, but she's only human. Sephiroth's clones are superhuman beings with powers that raw skill just can't handle.

Likewise, do you know why the rest of the team didn't jump in against Sephiroth? Well, it was Cloud's fight, but also, them jumping in against Sephiroth would've led to a bloodbath.

Sephiroth>Cloud=(DoC) Vincent>Kadaj/Loz/Yazoo>AVALANCHE

Sephiroth's arrogance leads to his defeat by Cloud. But he wouldn't have been arrogant against Cloud's friends. He'd kill them to torture Cloud some more, then get back to the tormenting. So had AVALANCHE jumped in, they'd have died.

While Cloud on his own is outmatched, he is still the only being capable of keeping up with Sephiroth at all. Sephiroth has no particular desire to see Vincent suffer, and so would dispatch him quickly.

That's a great analysis Alex!<3 My friend once criticized that Sephy is waaaaay too weak in AC but I can't agree. Now I think arrogance is quite a word to describe his failure. :lol:

Seriously, I'm supposed to believe these characters who travelled all over the world, battled Weapons, Sephiroth, and crazy ass Shinra experiments can do nothing but jump around until Cloud shows up and pwns? Loooord. D:

I can accept it because I try to understand that it's a story filled with characters written by people, and a script written by story tellers and that sometimes characters have to do what's necessary for the plot. (That's why the Northern Water tribe's impotence didn't hurt me as much as it did my husband)
I mean, I totally agree that my party from the ending of FF7 could have totally raped AC, but mebeh Nomura's party wasn't as powerful ^_^ Maybe he's a bad gamer.
