Hello! I am the new gal. I just discovered this place today and I can't be any happier. I have been a fan of Cloud and Aerith for a long time now and I am happy to see others that share the same passion as me as well.

Well what can I say about me? I am 30 years old. Yeah I am over the hill ..sigh. I was a huge gamer back in the day and final fantasy was probably one of my favorite series to play, along with the Zelda and Kingdom Hearts games. FF7 was the last FF game I actually played all the way through to the end though. I have tried to play some of the lastest FF games but I just can't get into them anymore. Maybe because Cloud and Aerith are not in them? :cleris: Really though, life gets in my way too much anymore and I find it too hard to sit down and play long RPG games. So I guess I have a special place in my heart for FF7 as it reminds me of my stress free life I used to have back in the day.


Anyways what else can I say about my self? Oh I am also a Harry and Hermione (from Harry Potter, in case no-one knew) fan. And yes for the record, I am not a Ron hater that most seem to think H/Hr fans are. I love Ron, I just don't think he and Hermione were right for each other. Kinda the same way I just can't see Tifa and Cloud together. Just doesn't seem right.

By the way, I am surprise you don't have this smiley here?Cloud Smiley Believe it or not, we have that smiley over at my Harry and Hermione fan site I go to. Werid huh.

Trust me, you aren't old. My dad's almost 60 and he loves Cloud/Aerith, he hasn't played FF7 but he's seen all the C/A scenes many times mostly when I play it. :huggle: I'm going to be 20 in about 2 weeks but I'm a serious RPG lover and of course a C/A one too. :cleris: We should join Geezers and Cronies together! Your mom doesn't have any computer skills? How did she manage that? I bet she was too busy playing the good old floopy disk Oregon Trail game on the Apple II computers instead of actually learning, huh. Okay now I am showing my age. Ummmm nevermind.

Anyways, here is a few other tibits about me:

- I love 80s junk, music, movies, toys. I mean the 80s was cool. Although in the other decades defense, I must say the fashion style was horrible in the 80s; permed hair, shoulder pads, jelly shoes and neon clothes that were so bright they could be seen from space. :blink:

- I am a huge animal lover. Cats, dogs, horses, etc. I live on a farm by the way. So I am never without a pet near by demanding my attention.

- I hate clowns. Hate them so much. You will never see me at a circus.

- I am a Capicorn; if you are in that whole astrological sign stuff.

- I work as a kitchen cabinet designer. You would think that would be exciting but really it is boring. I considered it about as fun as watching paint dry.

- I have just become recently single *winks at single guys out there*

- I have every video game system (from Magnavox's Odyssey to the Wii) ever made except for the PS3 and 360. Not sure if I want to shell out the money for them. I really haven't been that impressed with the games to buy them. I actually wasn't go to buy a Wii until I heard a new Zelda game was on it. Of course I end up loving the Wii now. If KH3 came out, I might consider getting a PS3. At the moment I think I will wait.

- I love the Zelda series. Zelda I was the first video game I ever played and it holds a special place in my heart. I have every game in the series, including the Philips CD-i games. I hid them in a safe place to prevent innocent hands from playing three of the worst Zelda games ever made. Man they sucked.

- I love to listen to movie and game soundtracks. They smooth me. FF7 has one of the best game soundtracks to listen to.

- And no I am not a nerd. I swear.....really. Well maybe 25% nerd. That it though.

Anyways, I think you guys know more about me than my own mother does now. So I will just shut up now.

I love Oregon Trail! It was the first computer game I ever played along with Amazon Trail and Dr. Riptide. We must be both geezers! :huggle:
