Title: Videogame(s) You're Currently Playing.
Description: =D

MistaCloudStrife - March 7, 2008 05:39 PM (GMT)
I thought there was a thread like this, but I guess it was my imagination. Well, in case there is, mods feel free to delete.

Just tell everyone the game(s) you're playing right now, the game(s) you just finished and/or plan on playing/buying. >=O

I just beat Assassins Creed last week.(halfassed it, so I only got like 600GP Lol) I'm currently playing DMC4, Halo 3(still need to beat it on legendary with my friends), Magna Carta, God of War CoM, and N+.

And I still need to buy and play Eternal Sonata, but Lost Odyssey just came out, so I might get that first. I don't know what to do. T_T But I noticed ES got a price drop so I might get them both if it doesn't break me too much. =P

Magna Carta

Which one?

Ugh...I'm still waiting and hoping it'll come out for the PS3. Anyone know for sure if it will? If not, let me know now so I can stop hoping. I don't feel like spending all that money on an X-box for this one game >.<

QUOTE

I bought it for my brother this Christmas...but he hasn't been playing it much.
I'd check it out but, unfortunately, it's not the usual type of game I play.

As for current games...I'm currently playing...like...30 games. I have this really bad habbit of jumping from one game to the next without finishing any. Anyway, I'm currently playing Baten Kaitos Origins, Wild Arms 3, Skies of Arcadia, Shadow Hearts 1...and I'm not done with my Magna Carta game either. :hide:

Skies of Arcadia

I love that game.

I'm playing FFIX again, both Kingdom Hearts, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, and Viva Pinata.

I demand you both get ES. It's a wonderful game. The only shame is that it doesn't last long, unless you play through Encore.

That would be Tears of Blood. =)

Lost Odyssey! =O Scenario writer is Sakaguchi!!

And I know how to you feel. I actually bought a Gamecube and will probably get a Wii for Smash Bros. >.O;;

Same goes for me... but the 360 pretty much forces me to touch into them. But playing FPS games with my friends is alright every now and then. But you should try it out. It's actually pretty fun. A little too easy imo though. All I do is counter everyone and I'll kill them all eventually; including the bosses. =O

QUOTE

Funny how you brought that up. I actually bought FFIX and FF Tactics (both black label PS) at a thrift shop yesterday... 6$ for both. =) I have them already but I couldn't pass that up. My heart skipped a beat when I saw Tactics.

Oh and I completely forgot... I have Wild ARMs XF and Crisis Core reserved and payed in full at gamestop. =)

Silent Hill 0rigins
Final Fantasy VII (I had to watch Aerith die... twice in a row :( )

Those are about it for me right now.

EDIT: I also have CC reserved! WOO!! Great minds think alike huh?

My brother just recently bought a PSP...so I can play CC too now when it comes out. However, I'm most likely going to skip it. Love FFVII, but I don't really care for Zack...plus I refuse to give SE anymore money for something as stupid as the Compilation. I'll save my money for Eternal Sonata. :P

Isn't there an X-box version of this game too or something? But yeah, that's the one I'm currently playing as well. Just started playing it though I've owned it for...forever. What's your opinion of it so far? Battle system is sort of slow for me, but I'm really interested in the storyline.

Yup, another reason why I can't spend money on an X-box. We just bought the PS3 a few months ago and we're now planning on getting the Wii for Smash Bros. Once we do that, I'll most likely also pick up the new Fire Emblem. Our gamecube will probably be a little lonely then.

I also really want to try out the sequel to Tales of Symphonia once it comes out. I heard it would be released here in the US this summer. Think it's called something like...ToS: Dawn of the New World? Oh, and then there's Zelda TP. We have the gamecube version...but I haven't even touched it yet.

Yeah, Skies of Arcadia is a lot of fun...but it's so 3D that it makes me nauseous sometimes. I usually can't play it for more than 1-2 hours at a time without getting slightly sick.

sessystalker - March 7, 2008 07:58 PM (GMT)
I'm currently re-playing FFVII. Then after getting Crisis Core and completing it maybe a couple times I'm required to play FFX for the first time. XD

Pyra Kurai Akaidra - March 7, 2008 08:45 PM (GMT)
Right now, I'm playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. Am at the fifth case, going to finish this before getting Justice for All.

Also, I was alternatively playing Suikoden Tactics (I was crazy enough to restart missions/battles just to not like ONE character die...again), Phantom Hourglass (I personally find the cell-shading adorable), FFIII, Revenant Wings, Digimon World DS, Trauma Centre, LoZ: OoT (for the first time ever, so sue me), as well as replaying Shadow Hearts: Covenant and FFVIII-IX.

Now that I think about it, I should seriously try to complete the Mesal Gear Solid mini-game in Ape Escape 3.

Kaldea - March 7, 2008 08:49 PM (GMT)
I'm playing Patapon, SH:O, Endless Ocean and waiting for SS:BB. D:

Kaleta - March 7, 2008 09:05 PM (GMT)
I am currently playing Final Fantasy XII and trying to get the last ultimate weapon on FFX, damn those lightning bolts, i need to rest! D;

And im also waiting to buy KHII and DoC

~ Sophie - March 7, 2008 09:39 PM (GMT)
Currently Playing:
Makai Kingdom - Zetta is awesome. 'Nuff said.
Wild Arms 2 - Played WA1 and liked it, so I'm playing the next.
Assassin's Creed - Take all the good stuff from Thief and Hitman and throw the crap out and you get AC.
Mass Effect - If the game would stop giving me unreadable disk errors, it would be pretty damn good.
Melee - Prepping for Brawl, dur.
Diamond - I hate Shedinja.
PoFV - I also hate Komachi.

Soon to Play:
Oblivion: Shivering Isles - More content is good.
Justice For All - ...as soon as I can find it. Grrrr...
Brawl - Obvious.
Devil May Cry 4 - If this isn't awesome, I'm gonna power word kill something.
The rest of VP: Silmeria - It's not holding my interest now, but I suppose I ought to go back and beat it sooner or later.

Current Challenge:
FFX NSGNSNCNONENNENBB - Stalled at Calm Lands for the last few months while I played different stuff. That doesn't appear to be changing any time soon, what with Brawl and DMC4 on my plate.

I heard it was actually the best addition to the Compilation. Yeah, it's not saying much, but I have high hopes for this game. I've been supporting the RPGs for the PSP for a while now, hoping that someday I can get stuff like Star Ocean and Suikoden. =(

I have no idea about the Xbox thing. I've never seen it myself. But yeah, the game got terrible ratings but on most of them, they said that the story was the best thing about the game. But you know, it's an RPG; and any true RPG gamer knows whats the most important thing about an RPG. I'm actually not that far in the game either. =O

Well, I would get a few other games, but Brawl would be the majority of the reason to get one. I would probably get something like Nights into Dreams(Or whatever the sequel is called), Pangya, Hajime no Ippo, Mario and such.

I really want to get a PS3... but there aren't any games that interest me right now. T_T Where are the exclusive RPGs!? >=O And allt he rest of the decent games are going multi-platform too. I'm still waiting for MGS4 and FFXIII and vsXIII though. Guess I have about less than a year to go now.

And I haven't played a "Tales of" games since Eternia!! I want to get Abyss though... I heard it was good.

I'm playing Patapon

Is it good?? I loved Loco Roco. =D

And here's a list of my PSP games that I have yet to open and put into my PSP. I'll probably play them next time I go on a road trip or something. >.O

Kingdom of Paradise
Astonashia Story
Popolocrois
Dragoneer's Aria
Y's
Blade Dancer
Legend of Heroes II
Legend of Heroes III
Rengoku II
Monster Hunter
Monster Hunter 2

I buy most PSP RPGs I see. I want Jewel Summoner, but I can't find it anywhere now. T_T

AH! Patapon! Brian at my Gamestop tried to get me to buy that. I almost did, but I needed extra money for CC. Is it good and worth it? I'm not good at games like those.

Patapon is definitely worth it. It's addicting and hilarious. Not to mention $20 is a STEAL when it comes to price and quality. <33333

Currently playing:

- FFXII (Currently fighting Belias)
- DoC:FFVII (Finishing up Chapter 11)
- Shadow of the Colossus (Still on the 9th Colossus)

And I'm replaying KHII. I finally got the Ultima Weapon and now I need to level up before taking on Sephiroth.

Currently Playing: Sins of a Solar Empire. Amazing space strategy game... it has such amazing depth to its gameplay. A single match lasts an average of 6 or 7 hours!

Recently Finished: World in Conflict. Amazing game, both the single player and multiplayer are incredible. Besides, you can nuke an entire battlefield... pure excellence.

Plan to buy: Crisis Core as soon as it comes out :). For obvious reasons... more Aerith!

Amaranth - March 7, 2008 11:50 PM (GMT)
Currently playing:
Devil May Cry 4
Eternal Sonata
World of Warcraft

Anxiously awaiting:
ROCK BAND!

Kuraudo - March 8, 2008 12:37 AM (GMT)
Lolol, I'm really just replaying some older games right now. I reserved Crisis Core, and am waiting for that....

aerislives - March 8, 2008 12:46 AM (GMT)
well I've mostly been playing call of duty 4 on the PS3, i really enjoyed the single player campaign but it was so so so so short, i beat it in about 5 hours first time around, but where this game lacks it makes up for in online multiplayer where ive already logged about 12 hours in game time, and have barely seen all it has to offer.

next games i'm waiting to play are. Haze, sins of a solar empire like The Machine, starcraft 2, tabula rasa , gran turismo 5, and maybe some mgs4 but not sure on that one yet, oh and wheres my RE 5 i want it now. i also plan to purchase the orange box just for the game Portal cuz going through walls looks like fun.

Oceania - March 8, 2008 02:20 AM (GMT)
I'm currently playing "The Longest Journey." It's a Point n' Click adventure game. I bought it together with Rome:Total War (amazing game by the way) back in November but I didn't touch until now because there were other games I wanted to play first!

Existence: DENIED - March 8, 2008 02:26 AM (GMT)
Lately I've been playing SSBB (Jap version plzkthx) and Stepmania.

I also tried to get into the Castlevania series. I'm playing Portrait of Ruin, so far I just like pressing X and going, "CHARLOTTE! JONATHAN! CHARLOTTE! JONATHAN!"

Zelda - March 8, 2008 02:53 AM (GMT)
I'm currently playing Mabinogi and (hopefully) Super Smash Bros Brawl on Sunday. *crosses fingers*

I would say play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Aria of Sorrow, Dawn of Sorrow, and then play Portrait of Ruin last. Well you don't really need to go in that order, but that's the chronological order after Alucard makes his appearance. Great games those are. =D The reason to buy a DS I says. =P

yeah it's ok from what ive played it's like a fps mmo type game lots of large scale wars and other cool stuff, plus a good story to boot. ive only spent limited time playing it myself at a friends house, but it's kept him off the WoW since he got it 3 months ago so that says alot

Kuki Prower - March 8, 2008 01:18 PM (GMT)
I'm currently replaying Star Ocean: The Second Story. I've chosen to play as Rena for the first time in a while, I usually go as Claude to get Leon in the party but I prefer playing as Rena. Crazy I know :P

Also playing FFXII Relevant Wings, just finished Chapter 3 and doing some side quests for Tomaj, I need the gil and also more auracite for my cute little Espers. I love the overworld sprites of Vaan and Penolo, it reminds me of Final Fantasy on the NES ^_^

Kit - March 8, 2008 04:00 PM (GMT)
Playing Half-Life 2 is draining me simply because I hate Alyx so much and it won't let me kill her ass. I can only do that in Garry's Mod. Right now I'm attempting to heal with some Warcraft (not WoW). I don't even call her Alyx any more. I just call her "Pretentious Misspelling".

Pyra Kurai Akaidra - March 8, 2008 09:03 PM (GMT)
Just beaten the first Phoenix Wright game, the last part of the trial took me a while, plus retries due to bad choice of presenting evidence. But I know one thing. Blue Badger = Absolute Awesome.

Now I'm back to my Mega Man Star Force: Dragon game I put aside while playing PW. Hee, gotten myself the titular Star Force and was kicking butt.

WAITING FOR OR HOPING TO GET: (For the consoles I have)
Shadow Hearts: From the New World (SH: FTNW, where are you~! )
Persona 3 (coming out later this month! Hopefully!) Note: Usual PAL release date issue.
Digital Devil Saga games (seen some preowned deals and hoping to get them without being killed by my parents)
Dragon Quest 9
Rogue Galaxy (I'm waiting for the price to go down. $AU79.95 = )

Kaldea - March 9, 2008 09:03 PM (GMT)

Gawd, I know T.T
I haven't even touched any PS3 games since we got the system. I would have bought the Wii first if it'd been just up to me.

As for the PSP, just the other day, I was thinking about buying either Blade Dancer or Jeanne D'arc. I couldn't make up my mind and so decided to skip out on both for the time being. My list of RPGs to play and finish is really starting to pile up.

ZOMG...I HAFF that game, Pyra. It's been sitting on my shelf for a while now. Haven't played it yet since I made myself promise that I wouldn't touch it until I finish some of the others first. Wish I could lend it out to you or something...since it's just collecting dust.

I would love you if you do, except...we kinda live on different countries.

Also, I'm pretty darn sure there'll be more PS2 games to be released that's already out in Asia and US. Of course, when I see them here or their release date, I tend to curse, depending on long it'll take they are. (If you thought you heard something, that's my mental curses from the otherside of the world)

Oh and I'm hoping to find a Suiko game, just anyone of them ('cept Tactic, got that). D: Darn 'em, some of the Suiko games either hard to find (can't find Suiko5 ANYWHERE T-T) or never released to PAL.

Currently, I'm playing FFIX (I think I completed all the sidequests, except for the Excalibur II one)--after that, I'm contemplating levelling up my cast in Odin Sphere some more. And if I don't want to do that, I might convince myself to finish Dragon Quest VIII.

I was thinking about getting Eternal Sonata when it comes out for the PS3--but my friend just played it on the Xbox and she says the story and ending are ridiculous and make very little sense. =\

When I don't feel like RPGs, I pull out the good ol' hack and slash or fighting game. Usually Warriors Orochi or Tekken 5. XD

MistaCloudStrife - March 11, 2008 02:18 AM (GMT)
Started Lost Odyssey not too long ago. Been playing for about 3-4 hours now... I love it! >=O

Add in the reused names and etc, and I swear it could be a Final Fantasy game. O.O Well it's Sakaguchi and Nobuo... so it really isn't surprising, actually. =P

I've got a couple of the Suiko games, 1, 2 and 5. I think I got 5 when it came out so I was pretty lucky. It took me YEARS to find the first two and I paid quite a hefty price for number II (£60 on eBay) oh but I an assure you that it was worth it. My personal favourite is Suikoden II because of the story and characters plus the fact that you can also get Tir in the party if you have a saved game from the final save point in Suikoden I ^_^

Currently playing Burnout Paradise and Guitar Hero 3, then watching my husband play Bioshock, he also plays those other ones. ^_^ I tend to watch more often, and help strategize, but I do enjoy playing certain games, and I've always had talent for racing games, all my playing of Mario Kart with my dad as a little girl. xD
