Okay, I'm not quite sure if this is posted before, or if this is commonly talked about in other topics.

All I've seen of Zack from videos, and it's not as much as you guys think, I've only seen him with Cloud, or by himself on a mission or something (I don't know much about it).

Is he the same flirtatious ladies' man as he is described? I haven't been lucky enough to catch him in a scene with any other girl besides Aerith. :dunno:

Well...There is this Turk-girl Cissnei (I think that was her name) who obviously has a thing for him, but other than that...Nope, he isn't seen with girls in CC.

And I don't think he's really a huge ladies' man. I think it's only what Aerith thought of him or what she wanted to believe instead of accepting his death. I'm not sure if she could sense his death or hear Cloud's cries...But it kinda gives me that idea when she looks in the sky with sadness and later in the beginning of FFVII watches the mako coming out of the...erm...pipe and gasps. :o

Yeah, we actually dont see much of zack and other girls, but like toxo said, its probably because of how aerith said he was like in Maiden, it kinda gives out the impression he is a ladies man, we actually cannot comment on how many girls he's been with as his story only begins in CC, so he has had like more than 20 years at the end xD

So who knows, maybe he has A LOT of girls, then again, i firmly believe Zack only truly loved Aerith, but i do not believe Aerith feels the same way though =P

You can't forget the Secratay (wow, I spelled that wrong). But I also don't know if this was before or after he'd met Aerith, so I can't give you any information on that one. But ya know, he is like 18 or so at the start of CC, so that's 18 years that we also don't know about.

It's actually confirmed in the FFVII (10th?) Anniversary Ultimania that Zack had several girlfriends around the time he was dating Aerith, and was skilled when it came to hitting on women. It was also confirmed that Aerith was jealous of these other women. And if my memory is correct, didn't he also ask Cissnei out to dinner? :mellow:

Even if he did date other women, though, I still believe he cared the most for Aerith.

Yup, he did. I just adore that little part in the Ultimania where SE talked about the scene from the game in which Zack tells Cloud he knows of a place where they can crash at. In the captioning, it said something like "...which girlfriend was he referring to?" :lol:

Though their relationship wasn't serious to the point where he was ready to settle down with her as some people made it seem, I think he cared most for Aerith too. Their relationship was portrayed exactly as it was stated in MoTP. Zack was "her first light taste of love".

I believe it's the way he treated girls that makes him a big firt, though he may not intent to. In BC, he flirted with a Turk member called Yuko, and in CC, he asked Ciss out for dinner and Tseng caught him flirting with a receptionist in Shinra building. However, in the end of CC, Zack's last DMW system (with short cut-scenes) in battling were mainly focused on memories with Aerith only. IMO, he still cared Aerith most, but not until the last moment of his life did he realize how Aerith meant to him......*feels sad*

I think he did care for Aerith the most out of his girls (that... just sounds... strange...). But as Kaleta brought up, it does make you wonder what the others thought about him just vanishing on them like that.

It's okay sweetie. It happens to the best of us. I just found it funny.

I thought that Aerith took it well enough considering that she didn't know. She knew that something bad had happened to him, but she didn't exactly know what. About the others (considering you don't see them as often), I couldn't say. If I even found out that my bf was with another girl, I would have problems. I think that he did a good job at hiding it.

Maybe some already knew? i mean, that turks girl, whats her face should know right? anyway, i think that it was kinda nice and kinda selfish of Zack to only think about aerith right at the end xD

Mind you, I haven't played the game yet because it's not out in the US yet, but I don't think it was selfish at all to think of her. I've seen all the cutscenes (wow, up until 4 in the morning and then I couldn't sleep ^_^), and they never mentioned anything about other girls. Yes, Zack did kinda forget about Aerith until he was in the inn with Cloud when he was poisoned with Mako and he reached inside his pocket and found her '23 Wishes' all combined into one. When he read it, he remembered her and everything that they did together.

But the lady Turk (can't spell her name for the life of me) knew that something was going to happen to him because she game him a 10 minute head start to run, which he did. He wanted to get back to Midgar and well... we all know what happens.

But like you, i haven't played it either, so i guess his relationship with the turks girl was just fun.

From what I could tell from the cutscenes, he didn't even have a relationship with her. Later in the game, she brought up Aerith (when they had escaped from the Mako experiments), and told him that she was still okay and everything. So to me, it sounds like she knew about Zack and Aerith, and she didn't want to push herself onto someone that really wouldn't be worth it (no offence to Zack there).

I saw a cutscene where he was talking to Tifa. There was no audio, and it was in Japanese. His reaction was interesting, though.

xD Oh yeah! it was sad <3 but the way the wishes were all just one, was cute xD But i found it so touching at what aerith actually wanted the most >.< i wonder what would happen if she said that to cloud instead xD

I want to know if Zack wanted to actually visit aerith when they were in the truck, because i heard somewhere when he said about having a place to crash, which gf he was referring to was not clear xD

It's from a cutscene in DWM system. Zack said he can help fulfilling Aerith's wish if she has any. Aerith said she has 23 wishes. Zack then asked her to write it down in case he forgot. After that, Zack put the note from Aerith in his pocket without taking a look at it. Before long, you'll hear Aerith's pov saying "I want to make 23 wishes into one big, that is to get together with Zack once again." :)

Aerith's voice in that cutscene kills me (the "Ki-ku?(J)/Wanna know(E)?"<3).....Maaya-san is awesome!! :wub:

He did plan on going back to Midgar. If I remember, he told Cloud that he wanted to see someone before they just up and vanished. The only person that I could really think of would be Aerith becuase of their connection. From the cutscenes, he never mentions having more than one girlfriend. I think I would remember something like that.

I think that things will be clearer once the game has come out. We should be able to understand thing better once it's out.

I'm really looking forward to playing the game and seeing things for myself. XD I think I'll play it once just to enjoy it and then again to start picking things apart.

But I've always liked how Zack was perceived as being a "skirt-chaser." It was funny and added some touches to his character (even more so to distinguish him from Cloud a lot more). I believe Aerith was special to him, tho, and that's who he's referring to when he states he has a place to crash during their escape. I think the whole "but which gf was he talking about?" thing was to add some humor about his reputation for having many "girlfriends". ^_^
