I'd just like to suggest that all the forums be exclusive for the members only and not let guests view them so that if ever Cloti people (just for instance!) stumble upon this site and try to sabotage us, well... they wouldn't be able to do it. I mean, considering how war-freak they are... <_<

How would anybody else be able to join Tifa?

I totally understand where you're coming from, Tifa. The forum staff intends to keep this a safe haven for CloudxAerith people away from the criticism and harassment of Cloti's. Our forum rules are designed to prevent anti-CloudxAerith posting, and the forum rules allow us to suspend and/or ban any new member who comes in and tries to attack our views. That's clearly stated in the Forum Rules posted in the Church. IF we are harassed, we have a plan of action available to us that will allow us to get rid of that member quickly.

As Sefie said, I think it'd be hard for new CloudxAerith people to sign up to the forum if we made it exclusive to members only, but the forum staff will discuss your suggestion. I totally understand why it's an issue of concern, so thank you for bringing it up. :)

Blocking it off completely might be going a bit far, but if you wanted to avoid people stumbling on to things and signing up just to flame maybe you could do something with the user groups? I don't know too much about how forums work, but you can grant different user groups access to certain forums, can't you? Maybe you could have some of the forums able for everyone to view, and others for members (or a different group for members who have been around for a while, so you can see they didn't just sign up to flame people).

I think the administrators or moderators of this board can modify in their control panel (I think) who can view the forums. If, for instance, a guest is not logged in or not a registered member, he/she cannot view the posts. Meaning, he/she has to register first in this board to be able to read the posts. That way, I think, if ever he/she would commit something bad, she can be deleted or banned easily.

Okay, that's just an option that I suggested.

Yes, we do have a feature that allows us to block unregistered guests from viewing the boards. However, most people want to be able to see what the forum is like before signing up for it. So I think it would keep a lot of new members from registering if they weren't able to view the boards before registering. Besides, I think an anti-Cloud x Aerith person who wanted to flame Cloud x Aerith supporters would sign up regardless of whether they were able to see the posts before registering or not.
