Title: Girl Drama Issues.
Description: How can I get her to back off?
xLightfootx - February 14, 2008 04:10 AM (GMT)
Hey, everyone. Be ready for a huge post.
As many of you know, I'm thirteen, and in 8th grade. In my elementary school, I've known this girl since Kindergarten named Kirsten. During elementary, we were friends, but not best friends. We just respected each other. And let me get this straight before I begin ranting: she's very popular.
Now, once we get to junior high: Last year, in 7th grade, she ignored me at first. But, one time, in study hall, we had to sit next to each other (yes, we had assigned seats.. bummer!). The weird thing was, though; we talked and had no problem with each other.
Oh, but then this year starts. Her attitude towards me completely changed, and everytime she looks at me, it's always a glare of disgust. Also, the only class I have with her this year just has to be my favorite class - History. So, it's almost like I can't be myself in that class because she's there, and is constantly telling me to shut up, and that I'm not funny. I know that I'm not hysterical, but I know that I do make people laugh.
Anyway, yes; I know that I can be annoying, and it's good that I realize that. But, she shouldn't keep telling me to shut up. Also, I have a friend named Dina, who I met this year, and she's constantly making Dina come to her so she can "talk" to her. But, here's the weird part: Dina's my really good friend, but I think that they talk about me when Kirsten calls her over. Kirsten always looking at me and glaring at me the whole time she's talking to Dina.
Well, the other day, she told me to shut up again, so finally I got so pissed off that I turned around and said, "Kirsten; bite me."
She seemed shocked, and then got really mad, and then started talking about me. Again. But I felt good knowing that I finally stood up to her somehow. No one really does that to her since she's oh so popular. But, hey, she's not going to my high school next year, so I can say whatever I want.
But, yeah, I'm never apart of girl drama. Never liked it. That's why I hate it when I get pulled into it somehow.
The worst part about it is: Well, you guys already know I'm a history nerd, so yes, I am friends with my history teacher (LOL). We're constantly talking about Theodore Roosevelt and things people would find boring. Anyway, everyone loves my teacher. He's very laid back, and hysterical. So, of course, Kirsten's a HUGE kiss up to him. She's a kiss up to any teacher, but for some reason, it really makes me mad when she's a teacher's pet to him. It's not because I'm jealous in any way; I'm not.
I'm starting to think it's because I'm becoming agrivated of the fact that he doesn't know the real her. He thinks that she's a sweet angel that's nice to everyone. That's not true. At all. She's a jerk to many people, and thinks she's at the top of the school. Heck, I doubt he even knows that she's apart of this crazy girl drama.
I just want to talk to him so bad about it. It's really, really tempting to tell him all about her. That she's truly a jerk that has been making my life a living hell. But, I think that he'll think I'm nuts, since he only sees the nice side of her. And I know this is wrong, but everytime Kirsten's a jerk to me, I always feel the need that I should take it out on him or something. Like, it's his fault that she's a jerk to me - that maybe, if he knew her true personality, he could stop her for verbally hurting me. I secretly get mad at him, and I think he notices when I sometimes give him the silent treatment when he tries to talk to me about some sort of awesome history fact.
I'm not trying to make myself sound like some sort of saint, but I try to be nice to everyone. Including Kirsten. I just want her to be aware that I don't put up with crap like that from girls. I don't like drama. Never did, never will.
Anyway, please, if anyone has any advice about this whole problem, please, post. It's been bothering me for a while.
Thanks =D

Have you tried just talking to her? That may help. Just stay calm about it though. Pull her aside and just explain to her that you don't like the way that she is treating you.
I think you should tell someone about it, just to get it off your chest and to get other advise, but don't tell the teacher.
I don't know hwo much help that was, but good luck. It only gets worse in High School, trust me... I just barely got through it.
Sadhana - February 14, 2008 05:41 AM (GMT)
This kind of thing will happen throughout your life, and there's just no point in wasting your time with someone like that. I know it might be kind of hard to ignore this kind of people. Last year, there was a girl in two of my classes who was a huge bitch to me for no apparent reason, and the best thing I could do was just not pay attention to her. It was frustrating, sure, but if you let those people get to you, it's just rewarding their obnoxiousness.
Rest assured, middle school is an awkward time, and those kinds of social issues will seem less and less important as you get older.

Aw don't be ashamed, I was great friends with one my high school history teachers. I went to protests with him, we watched "V for Vendetta" together, and we started a chapter of Amnesty International at our school. I still go back to visit him, and we talk about politics and history for hours. ^_^
Sora G. Strife - February 14, 2008 12:16 PM (GMT)
Jerk is a light term. I prefer to use the forbidden term when talking about girls like this. Luckily, I have plans for girls like this, arranged from implosion to lethals.
Suffer silently/
Ignore her/
Avoid her (as much as you can)/
Send anonymous e-mail telling her to shut up/
Tell her in person to shut up/
Get friends (as in more friends) and tell her to shut up along with them/
Get rich, popular, and tell her to shut up/
Send her to Jigsaw (you know, from Saw)/
Grab a buster sword/weapon of preference and kill her. The last few were drastic.
xLightfootx - February 14, 2008 01:09 PM (GMT)
Thank you all very much for the help. And Sora, you got a few laughs out of me this morning. Thanks; I needed that. =D
Anyway, see; I could talk to her about it, but everytime I go NEAR her she verbally rips my head off. To tell you the truth, her doing this doesn't really bother me all too much, but the fact that my "friend" (hah, history teacher), doesn't know the REAL her, and actually LIKES her, makes me .. I don't know what word to use.
Technically, it's almost as if you hate someone, and a really good friend of yours is REALLY good friends with that person. I mean, I wouldn't mind if he still liked her, I just wish that he was aware to how cruel she can be to me; including a lot of my friends.
And Sadhana, YAYZ!
Someone knows how I feel! My teacher and I are always exchanging history books and other things. =D
Well, I'm off to school. I will post in here how she was today to me. Including how my history teacher handles it (if he sees it).
Tifa Lockheart - February 15, 2008 10:24 AM (GMT)
Hey I love history, too! Especially World History. The past simply amazes me and it's the closest thing I can get to time traveling. :P
Anyway...
Just totally avoid her. She's like a dementor from Harry Potter who seems to like sucking the life (in your case, fun) out of you. Nobody likes fun-suckers since they can be draining.
As for your teacher, just avoid bringing up the subject of Kirsten to him. I've had suck-up classmates before and the best way to deal with them is to strive to do better by studying harder.
She sounds like a people-pleaser to me, most probably to retain her so-called "popularity". Therefore, she'd also go and suck-up to your teacher because she probably thinks that the world is a big popularity contest or something.
But yeah, once you try talking some sense into her or once you have discussed your real issues with her and she still doesn't change her attitude, you're better off just ignoring her and staying away from her. If she does confront you again or if she decides to pick a fight with you, don't fan the flames. (but seriously, if I were in your position I'd kick her in the curb already. tee hee. but no don't do that. XD)
Hmm... I also suggest watching "Mean Girls". ^_^ I'll bet you can pick up a few pointers from that movie, too.
xLightfootx - February 16, 2008 02:20 AM (GMT)
Haha, thanks, Tifa! You are all making me laugh about this whole problem. I need that. :]
Yes! I've seen Mean Girls. I was highly amused by that movie. =D
Oh, as for all of you: has anyone seen Odd Girl Out? I watched it all on YouTube, and, it really shows how mean girls are to each other, and how much it bothers the person they're picking on. I suggest people should watch it, but if you're a sensitive person like me; watch out.
Tifa - Yes, I think the reason why she's a kiss up to him is to retain her popularity. But, okay, I don't think I really clarified this in my first post, but my teacher is seriously the coolest teacher at our school. Everyone loves him, and just loves talking to him. And he's Greek! D:. Just like meh. XD
Anyway, I don't think that I've mentioned this, either. Kirsten is severely competitive. She always wants the attention from the teacher, and absolutely hates it when someone else gets that attention. Usually, that someone else is me. One, because I basically study harder in that class just because I have a passion for it, and also because we just enjoy talking to one another. Also, I think the reason why my teacher and I are kinda close is because he has helped me when I've had problems in my life.
Example; when my mom had a stroke. He was constantly checking on me to see if I was okay, and of course my mom, as well. It just made me feel very honored that an adult outside of my family actually cared like that.
Sorry! Getting off subject. XD
Anyway, so yes, I believe Kirsten is also jealous of my history knowledge. She wants our teacher's attention since he's so cool, and therefore, she gets angry when I have the spotlight. Hah, sometimes I wish she had my Language Arts teacher. He knows how to kick butt.
Okay, so on Thursday, during History, she was standing by one of her friends that's actually surprisingly nice. I was happening to walk by, because I was going to go and turn in a paper to my teacher. Of course, because of my accident pronenessess (and my clumsyness), my shoulder slams the phone on the wall, and as a result, falls to the floor. Everyone starts laughing, including me. After a while, I've learned to laugh at myself; whether I just broke my finger, or I fell out of my chair.
But, nooo. Kirsten didn't find it funny. Instead, she says, "Smooth." In a very cold; rude way. I just simply smiled, picked up the phone, walked over to my teacher, gave him the paper, and headed back to where she was standing. When I was walking past her, she muttered, "Oh, don't worry. Just everyone saw that."
That pulled the last straw, so I had to say something. Well, bravo to me, though. I kept my cool, and still smiling, I said, "Nah. It's alright. I'm used to knocking things over. It's just my personality. Kinda need to stick with it, you know?"
And then just simply walked away. I figured that it would just piss her off more when, one: I showed her that I'm more mature than she'll ever be, and two: that I agreed with her. I've learned from past experiences that it pisses off another individual when you agree with them when they were trying to insult you.
But GAH! Of course, my teacher misses the whole thing! I just wish that he knew that she's a mean..... something. I don't want to say whore, because that'll make me as low as her. Even though I know she'll never read this (or find it, anyway), because she thinks Final Fantasy is gay and not worth talking about, I'm still trying to maintain my respect.
Oh, and Tifa, wanna help me jump her? >:D
Damaged - February 16, 2008 02:34 AM (GMT)
Geez... what a... bitch... Sorry for the bad language, but geez! I would have punched her already. Congrats to you for keeping your cool. Just keep showing her that you are more mature than her and she should leave you alone after a while. If not, tell someone else about it.
xLightfootx - February 16, 2008 04:19 AM (GMT)
Damaged - Thanks. =D
I want to tell someone about it; and although I'm probably not going to do it, I want to tell my History teacher about it. Maybe he'll think differently of her, which well hurt her since she wants to impress him, so she'll try to show him that she's nice. So, in conclusion, she'll be nice to me.
.. That may work. Maybe I should tell him after all? -sly look-
Truly, the only thing I envy from her is her beauty. That's it. As much as I don't like her, she's drop dead beautiful! I think it's just because she puts pounds after pounds of make up on, though.
Maybe I can take a picture of her "by accident" and post it on here... :D Nahh just kidding. That's kinda too mean. Something she'd do to me.

I live to try to make people find something "joyful" even in the saddest situations. :gift: I do that to myself, too, whenever I have problems so that I won't feel too bad about myself.

Is she an only child or she has siblings? Does she get enough attention from her family (parents, etc.)? Or does she get too much attention at home that she wants to have the same amount of attention from people who belong outside her family?
I'm beginning to think she's borderline or something. *psychoanalyzing* :shifty:

This behavior of hers is really making my mind produce bad thoughts and judgments about her. :fish: Reminds me of someone I know. However, I dealt with that person by outshining her more. Maybe you can try doing that. Build up on your ego a little bit more by being more better than her and one day, you'll realize that there's nothing she can do to attempt to make you feel insecure about yourself anymore.

Beauty is useless if it's a feature of a nasty, nasty beeyotch like that. :P (Sorry for being harsh. I had a classmate like that from back in 7th grade... and we eventually became classmates again in college because we enrolled in the same course in the same school! She's very similar to that Kirsten you're talking about.)

She definitely has the attention at home. No doubt about it there. She has an older sister, who is actually really nice. Same with her mom! Jeez, her mom is seriously an angel. How the HECK she ended up with a child like THAT, I'll never know.
But, Kirsten is a spoiled brat that gets whatever the heck she wants. I also heard that she was telling someone that I was a spoiled rich girl, just because I own a horse, and yes, and because horseback riding is severely expensive.
I'm not rich, but yes, my family makes good money, but I'm not a brat. I've never been mean/snotty to her; only when I've given her a taste of her own medicine.

Ah, in that case, after we're done mugging Kirsten, I'll be more than happy to help you =D.
Well, I was talking to my friend about how pretty she is, and I've noticed something: she wears tons and tons of make-up. I'm sure she still has natural beauty under that thick mask of... make-upness, but yeah. It's not all real.
Lmfao, I'm making it sound like she doesn't have a face.
Tacofoolio - February 16, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
Mmmmkay, I don't have time for a long response, but just keep in mind, you wanting to tell the teacher things about her to make her look worse in his eyes would be just as jealous and not cool as her trying to make you look bad, true or not. I understand why you'd want to, I think everyone wants the people they care about to see the true colors of someone being cruel.
I think the way you reacted by laughing and agreeing like it doesn't upset you was perfect, and honestly, you finding ways to deal with it is much more important than having people agree she's an evil biotch. The only reason I'd bring it up to your teacher is if it got to the point you needed help/advice on how to deal with it, and even then, there might be other people to seek advice from (like us!). The truth is, if she needs to put you down to shine more, she has problems of her own, and probably doesn't really need to have people look down on her. It'd only make her have to try harder to find ways of getting what she needs. Just keep showing you aren't bothered.

Thanks, but no thanks. I've dealt with her on my own already. How I did it: Ignore, ignore, ignore. She got tired eventually and karma got the best of her. Eventually, the entire class began to dislike her, too, because they found her attitude very distasteful, fake, and plastic.
| QUOTE |

I think she's just in denial. ^_^ The best thing to do is ignore her, be strong, but don't let her step on you. I also smell envy in her part because she's spreading rumors about you being a spoiled rich girl.
xLightfootx - February 22, 2008 01:09 PM (GMT)
Ugh, guys, she's making me more angry every single day.
I know, I know, I should ignore her, but that's wayyy easier said than done. Especially when it's just not her now. It's that other girl, too, Briana.
Tifa Lockheart - February 23, 2008 04:44 AM (GMT)
If I were to make a joke out of those 2 girls, I'd say they have a super secret crush on you that's why they're acting like that: to get your attention. :giggle:
But anyway, seriously, I would lash at them already but since it's not really a civil or mature way to deal with such things, well, have you tried discussing it again with them? :(
xLightfootx - February 25, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
Eh, actually Tifa, if I tried to talk to them about it, they'd just be like, "What do you want? Get out of here." :\
A lot of my friends are telling me to tell the teacher. A few are telling me not to. But, most of them are.
LOL, Tifa! I love your joke. =D That's totally the reason. XD It must be. :]
Tifa Lockheart - February 26, 2008 10:24 AM (GMT)
What they told you that? :o Oh well. It seems useless to talk to them if they seem to have a one-track mind. Normally I'd just ignore them but I won't let them step on me just in case they try to.... though I don't know if that will work on you. I understand that some girls just won't stop no matter how much you ignore them. Still, patience pays off and one day, karma will eat 'em like a buncha maggots.
Anyway...
You can try telling the teacher and see what happens. :D But don't create drama when informing your teacher, okay? It will just worsen the situation and they may think you're just overreacting.
| QUOTE |

It's the best reason I can think of if I'm trying to play shrink on them while adding a little bit of meanness on it. Tralala~ But then again, maybe? :giggle:
Angelwing Aeris - February 26, 2008 06:58 PM (GMT)
Inform the teacher and ignore her. The reason why she's doing that is just to get a reaction out of you. Happened to me too in the past. Or you could tell me where she lives... :shifty:

Trust me, if I knew, I'd tell you so we can BOTH go. =D
We should bring my horse, too. Maybe he can kick her in the face.
Nahh, he's too nice. XD
Tifa - Yeah, they're both jerks that need a taste of the real life. Both of them have been popular since day one, so they have NO idea how it feels to be the one that someone's picking on.
I think I'll inform the teacher about it; and yeah - Tifa, don't worry, I'll try my best not to make it all dramatic. :]
Oh! And for anyone who cares, I'm reading a friggin' 800 page biography called, "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt". Oh my GOD, is it amazing! My friends are telling me that I need to see a doctor, because I'm actually reading the book for fun.
I can't put it down!
Tifa Lockheart - February 28, 2008 07:50 AM (GMT)
Let us know what happens and we'll form our mafia to eliminate them.
Anyway, regarding the Teddy Roosevelt biography... I ain't American but I pretty much would like to try reading a piece of American history with that biography. :P Is there anything there that hasn't been published before in Wikipedia or in any other sources?
xLightfootx - March 3, 2008 09:09 PM (GMT)
Alright!
I've got some news to share with you all. =D
During class, I went up to my teacher and asked him if I could talk to him AFTER class, since I have him last period.
He told me, "Come talk to me now, here, sit at my desk."
Right away, I said, "I can't do that," and looked over at Kirsten's -- and Briana's -- direction.
He obviously didn't see my glance over there, and almost insisted for me to sit down. Then I again said that I couldn't, and then he understood.
Well, then, at last minute after the bell, I told him that I'd tell him during Study Hall, since we have a HELL of a lot more time then to talk.
He agreed.
Haha, I probably made him all suspicious. The poor guy doesn't even know what it's about.
Eh, oh well, he'll find out tomorrow.
But! I don't exactly know how to start talking. Anyone know any suggestions?
Tifa - Man, I wish you lived closer, then I could send you the book through mail, when I'm done with it, of course.
Maybe I can search it up on E-Bay for you. It's definitely worth every penny. :]

First, I'm really impressed on how you maturely dealt with things so far. I've gone through that road before in middle school; haters gon' hate. =P And today I had my own pointless scenario where this nasty biotch criticized my clothing in front of the whole class (she noticed that I don't have many pairs of pants), which was both humiliating and WTFish to the max, but like you... I ignore it and move on. People like that don't matter. Some would kill to see someone else fall.
As for your question: If you and your teacher are pretty much tight homies, just tell him how different/badly Kirsten treats you and how much it bothers to see her two-faced (feeding on attention). Normally I wouldn't recommend it, but your situation is perfectly understandable. (I honestly don't know what action would be morally right or wrong; but I tell you, soon karma will bite her hard in the ass soon enough. Just be patient! Heheh.)

ROFL! "Tight Homies". Nice one, TS. XD
I can actually say with no doubt that I'm nervous about telling him tomorrow. Like, I'm nervous to how he may react when he learns who she really is. He might have the nerve to deny me; you never know.
But, I can just turn around and say this if he denies me:
"Excuse me? I've known this girl for nine friggin' years. You're only known her for.. less than one?"

Ack. Hopefully he won't be like one of those teachers who are buddies with their students but in reality, they don't really care and will shun the issues of their students away. I'm wishing you all the luck in the world! :gift: Anyway, let us know how it turns out.
xLightfootx - March 5, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
Alrighties!
I have newsz for you all. 8D
I didn't talk to him during Study Hall, but! I talked to him during class when Kirsten and Briana were distracted with something.
Here, I'll write up the script. Green = Me, Red = Teacher. :
"Hey, sorry for not telling you what I meant to tell you during Study Hall."
"Hey, Gig (My name is Gigi, but people perfer to call me Gig. Why he calls me that, I have no clue...), no problem. Anyway, what is it about? It's been killing me for the past few days -slight chuckle-."
"Well, kinda.. Girl drama, which I don't want to be apart of. At all. I don't know if going to you is really the best choice, but---"
"Oh. Girls fighting, kinda?"
"..Y-yeah."
"I really enjoy talking to you Gigi, don't get me wrong there. But, I think maybe you should talk to the counselor is it REALLY bothers you. I mean, I'll help you as much as I can, of course--"
"N-no. It's not that bad. It's just. Well, you're the only class that I have them in."
"Oh! -begins to get really interested- Okay, so they're in here? Who is it?"
"-mutters- Kirsten and Briana."
"O-oh. Are they being mean to you?"
".. Well. I don't want to make this seem like I'm being a sensitive cry baby, but they're making fun of how I dress, how I talk, the fact I ride horses, and my culture. I don't really need this right now in my life, nor did I ever do anything to deserve this from them."
"-puts hand on my shoulder- Hey, it's alright. I'll go talk to them, okay?"
"NO! -spazzes- (ROFL)"
"..No?"
"No, no, no. The reason why I want you to know is because I want someone besides a minor to be aware. Kirsten and Briana like you and respect you, so if you tell them to knock it off when you see them being rude, they'll probably listen."
"Ah, okay. I understand now. Don't worry. Now that I'm aware, you'll be okay. I'll keep a low key, though, just for you. Thanks for telling me, kid. I always perfer you talking to me about stuff rather than keeping it to yourself and letting it get to you."
^^ The last part he said, is actually true. He always gets agrivated with me because when something's wrong, I don't talk to him about it (let alone anyone), and I let it get to me because I keep it to myself. So, I think this made him happier that I'm being open about things.
Although I now have back-up help, this isn't over. I bet you she'll still try to be rude, but thank you all so much for rooting me on and making come to my senses. I'm still gonna definitely update this thread, if something happens with Kirsten, and if my teacher stands up for me or not. =D

Yay~! :hyper: Hurrah for you and your teacher!
I'm glad he understands your situation. :phew:

Soo.. I basically feel crushed right now.
I just found out, during this whole week, Kirsten and Briana have been turning one of my good friends, Dina, against me.
It's working.
I thought neither of them could get any lower than that.
I feel like crying.
Right away, my friend told me to once again, tell the teacher about it.
I forgot to add in the script, but after class, he told me that if this situation were to get any worse, to tell him about it.
I think I'm going to, and I may say this, "When I meant that Kirsten was being mean, I meant she was being cruel."
Good idea? Or.. what?

Darn. I really would like to wring their necks now. <_<
But look at it this way, if Dina decided to believe them, then maybe she isn't really that much of a good friend anyway. :( I know it's really devastating, and I know it's overrated to say this but you just need to be strong. Easier said than done but I know you'll get through it.
Anyway, don't show them that you're greatly affected by what they did to Dina. You can let your emotions out and cry when you're alone or when you're not facing them, but don't ever show them that you're weak or breaking down, otherwise, they'll be "victorious". I think they're just doing those things to further bring you down. (Truth be told they're really sick)

You can say that but elaborate by explaining your side and what they are really doing to you. You can also point out the effects/impact of their actions on you.

Tifa - thanks. You're really making me feel better about the whole situation.
This whole week's been completely wacked up since we have ISAT testing all week. So, it's really messing up everyone's schedules. In conclusion, I've barely talked to the teacher the past few days. Only simple hellos, high-fives (ROFL, oldie, I know), etc.
I plan to tell him as soon as possible about Dina. I'm starting to think that when I told him about Kirsten, I made it sound like I was some little kid that was complaining that some girls were being mean to me. I believe I wasn't very discriptive, either..
Anyway, yeah - I also think that I'll explain more about what they do, and not make it seem like I'm just being a sensitive kid.
I'll let you all know as soon as possible when I tell him more about the situation.

Glad to know I can be of help to you, even if I can only try to cheer you up or telling you to be strong. ^_^' Anyway, I know you'll be fine. Just keep us posted here and good luck! :huggle:
xLightfootx - March 8, 2008 03:37 AM (GMT)
Ack! Once again, never got around to telling him. Meep. :[
I plan to soon, though!!
She's not making my life any easier, I can tell you that much.
Thanks for the luck, Tifa. I'll need it. =D

Do you know where Dina lives :shifty: I'm thinking you, me and Tifa should go. You in?

Are you guys both 13? I was also teased at that age so I understand totally how you feel. :huggle: I know this is hard for you but Kirsten and her gang will give up if you ignore them completely. They get pleasure from your reactions. That is why it happens. If you want them to stop walk around like you don't have a care in the world. When they realize you aren't reacting it will stop. Trust me, I know this is hard, but if you take this advice it will work.

Angelwing Aeris does have a point. You can just act like it doesn't bother you, but you can still go tell the teacher if you wish to do so. Not trying to push you down now, but just wait until you get into High School, it gets worse; but if you need any help, you can come to us ^_^
I wish you all the luck in the world hun. Keep us informed.
xLightfootx - March 8, 2008 10:53 PM (GMT)
Thanks to the both of you. Gahh, am I itching to tell him on Monday.
Anyway!
I would ignore her, but to Kirsten, ignoring her means that I'm giving her permission to walk all over me. That's how she sees it, anyway...

Think of it as maturity instead of being walked on. If things get too bad, I can just fly out there to stop it. :huggle:
xLightfootx - March 15, 2008 12:23 AM (GMT)
Thanks, Angelwing. =D
But, GRR!
You guys know that I told my teacher about it, right?
He's not doing crap to stop it! They started making fun of me that I was reading The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt , and he saw the whole thing, and didn't do anything to stop it!
>:O.
I think I need to remind him, but with a little bit more force, don'tcha think!?
Tifa Lockheart - March 15, 2008 08:49 AM (GMT)
Seems like he doesn't want to look as if he's taking sides.
But I think that if he did react to the people making fun of you, it would create more issues. For example, you'll end up looking like a suck-up or they'll start creating rumors that there is a serious student-teacher relationship between you and your teacher--with the latter getting both of you into more trouble. :(
For now, you can try talking to your teacher calmly about what happened and ask him why he didn't do anything to stop them from making fun of you. He must have a good reason for it. Let us know. :P

Yeah, Tifa - you might be right there. About the whole thing where they might spread that we have a "relationship". Hah, not like many people would believe it, but, whatever. Then again, they might, though - people know we're friends.
Anyway, I was thinking about just mentioning that the teasing and the rude comments are becoming worse. I'll also mention what happened the other day (them making fun of me and him not doing anything to save me from being EATEN ALIVE! D:), and ask him why he didn't do anything.
But, I don't know why he wouldn't just simply say, "Hey - knock it off."
It doesn't mean you're taking sides, it really doesn't mean anything. It just means that the teasing needs to stop.
The thing I actually found interesting after I told him was; later, Kirsten and Briana went up to him to just talk about random crap, and it seemed like he had no interest in talking to them. At all. It was seriously almost as if he was pissed at them for being rude.
I was like, "-confuzzled-."

Well I think it's a good sign that he was actually aware of the teasing but couldn't think of a better way to respond to them without looking like he's taking sides.
The question is, did Kirsten and Briana realize that he looked uninterested? (or maybe they're so blinded by their ambitions to be able to see the bigger picture... :shifty:)

Maybe, but sometimes, when the other girls are desperate to bring you down, they can think of almost anything about what the teacher would say to stop the teasing. I was unlucky enough to learn that the hard way when I was in 7th grade. One of my teachers found out that I was being bullied by a couple of girls and when she saw it in action, she told them to stop.
The bullies took it the hard way and pointed out that I was a suck-up. Pshaw. And I don't even talk to that teacher!
Nasty, nasty girls.
Anyway, just let us know what happens once you have talked to him already on why he didn't say anything.
