Okay, thanks to our own Cloud Gainsborough, I now have Sony Vegas 8.0 and I was just wondering if there were any tips that I could use for someone that just started using it.
I managed to figure out how to save the videos and publish them to You Tube (I find it kinda wierd since it's making me upload them to a site where I can download it and I have to download it before I can put it up on YT). Anyways, is there anything that I should know, or anything that could be of help to me since I'm just starting to use it.
EDIT:
And I'm still having that freaking problem. It's only letting me make .wmv videos. It will NOT load the video for .avi. It's really ticking me off... Any help?
EDIT AGAIN:
Okay, and I'm having a problem with saving... When I upload it to YouTube, it'll throw my quality to crap and take away from my timing on something that I worked hard on. I also made an intro that's 13 seconds long, but YT cuts it down to 3 and takes away MOST of it. It's supposed to fade to static, but at YT, the video freezes (music still playing) and the cuts off half a second later. Any help?
What I normally do is save the video as a .wmv file and upload it to YouTube. I believe the option I use is File --> Render As --> .wmv. I've made most of my videos with Sony Vegas but I've never encountered that kind of problem.
The quality does go down once it's uploaded to YouTube but it shouldn't be too much of a drastic change. The timing can at times be off but normally it shouldn't; it's a bit of a rarity for the timing in my videos to go off due to YouTube. I suggest looking at the video again on Vegas to make sure that it isn't messed up due to the song's placement on the timeline or the clips themselves.
Okay, another question. I have about 6 CC clips, and it's only letting me use about 3 of them. I got all the clips from the same place, and some of them even play in the preview window, but when I drag the ones that won't play into the timeline, it's just a black screen. I can't even edit the clip or anything. Do you know how to fix that?
Lesson learned: Just because I have it doesn't mean I know how to use it, thanks, this helps me too :lmao:
Can u help me to get Sony Vegas 8.0 I have 7 ...
