Here is a Squall and Rinoa club. They make a very cute couple and have a wonderful love story. I loved the Eyes on Me scene on the Ragnorak, the dance scene, their kiss on the balcony, their hug and rescue at the Sorceress Memorial, their promise in the Flower Fields, Squall telling Rinoa to keep his ring, Squall carrying her in the sunset and opening up to her, Squall's rescue to her in space, all the scenes. One of my favorites was probably on the Ragnork when the intercom is telling Squall to follow the crews intructions and Rinoa will be taken and the intercom keeps calling out for Squall and Squall turns it off and hugs Rinoa.

I'm with you, Usagi!!! I just love this couple, and I can't understand why some ppl don't like Rinoa... :unsure: I think she's great and perfect for my Squally!!! :wub: They look so good together!!

Now, for the first club activity- list your top eight favorite Squall/Rinoa scenes, to go with the FFVIII theme.

Number 1- Squall and Rinoa are on the Ragnorak. Squall turns off the Gravity generator. "Eyes on Me" begins to play. Rinoa floats in the air. Squall floats over to her and takes her in his arms and sits in his seat. Rinoa floats down and cuddles up to him and Squall opens up about his past and Rinoa cuddles up to him and has her arms around him.

Number 2- The intercom keeps calling out for Squall, but Rinoa says she's scared. The intercom calls out again and again. Squall shuts the intercom off and hugs Rinoa.

Number 3- Squall and Rinoa go to the orphanage and begin to talk now that they are together and nothing can separate them. Squall thinks to himself that even if Rinoa becomes the world's enemy he'll be her knight. They talk together and Squall and Rinoa make a promise to meet in the flower fields if they ever get lost.

Number 4- Squall goes to the Sorceress Memorial to rescue Rinoa. Squall cuts open the seal. Rinoa runs out and runs into Squall's arms. Squall and Rinoa hug. Squall holds Rinoa tightly and brushes her hair with his hand. Rinoa tells him she's a sorceress, but Squall tells her it doesn't matter and they hug again.

Number 5- It's nightime and Rinoa is looking out from the balcony of Garden. She then lifts oen finger up. Squall sees her and smiles and kisses her.

Number 6- Squall is saying farewell to Rinoa and tries to stop her from leaving. Rinoa tells him she has to go. She tries to give Squall his ring back, but Squall tells her to keep it.

Number 7- Squall sees Rinoa and Rinoa asks him to dance. Squall tells her he can't, but Rinoa takes Squall onto the dance floor and they dance together as fireworks go off.

Number 8- Squall is carrying Rinoa on his back. He goes out to try and help her. It becomes sunset and Squall places Rinoa down. He opens up to her and tells her why he's being distant and why he's scared to let people in as the song "Love Grows" plays in the backround.

3. When Rinoa feels lost and she finally finds Squall (I think it's in Time Compression?). Then it turns out they're in the flower fields all along! I love that scene.
4. When they hug at the Eshtar Sorceress Memorial.
5. The ending, for obvious reasons.
6. At Balamb Garden, when Rinoa asks Squall for a tour.
7. When Rinoa offers to give back the ring, but Squall tells her to keep it.
8. When they're on the Ragnarok (for a better descrip see, UsagiMamoru's post. ^_^)

YES!!!!!!!! Let me in NOW!!! I love these two! I have a Final Fantasy VIII poster up in my room with them hugging on it! I love it, it was a gift from my friend when she went to Chinatown. :huggle: I just love them so much!

I remember way back when Michelle Branch's song "All You Wanted", first came on the radio, right away as I heard that song I thought of Rinoa singing this about Squall. Then every time it came on I would keep thinking of it. I always wondered why no one else seemed to notice how much the lyrics can relate to this love.

They are a great looking couple and fit each other perfectly. As the saying goes, they're a match made in heaven. So, count me in!

My top 8 scenes of them:

1) When Squall first laid eyes on Rinoa while she was watching the shooting star. She definitely got his attention and he couldn't take his eyes off her! hihihi :)

2) When Rinoa finally introduced herself to Squall at the Forest Owls' base.

3) When Squall finally opened up to Rinoa (she was in a coma) and told her his true feelings!

4) When Squall told Rinoa that even if she became an enemy, he would be her knight.

5) The flowerfield scene. The spot where they promised to meet each other if something goes wrong.

6) When Squall frees Rinoa from the sorceress memorial and they hug each other. The expressions in their faces are so moving.

7) When Squall carries Rinoa from Fisherman's Horizon all the way to Esthar.

8) The outer space scene. That FMV of Rinoa regaining hope after seeing Squall's ring then he comes to the rescue.

The couple is pure win- I'm surprised this place doesn't have more supporters! I love how Rinoa manages to coax Squall out of his shell from the very first time they met. They compliment each other perfectly. :)
