I am so sick of people proclaiming that couple is cannon and then being incredibly bitchy when you say that Sora loved Kairi.
Come on, Sora and Riku are good friends, nothing more.

But anyway here is one friggin' Idiotic SoRi Fan's view

3) Anyhow after the whole ordel of the world getting swallowed up into darkness. Riku is standing in front of the giant ball and Sora runs up to him, when Sora ask about Kairi. Riku sorta snaps angirly that Kairi was coming with him, it truly showed how concerned he was over Kairi.
4) He even reached out towards Sora and not Kairi to enter into the new worlds.
5)Anyhow Riku founds himself into Hollow Bastion and he goes to find Sora, yes Sora and not Kairi.
6) When he does found Sora he is relieved, but when Sora asked him where Kairi was. Riku seemed to not really care, he replied rather flatly that she was probably lookin for them.
7) Riku only seems to start caring where Kairi was after he spots Sora with his new friends and having fun without him, he clearly jealous.
8) Some other stuff happens and Riku sorta seems to be using Kairi had bait to bring Sora to him. He even creates little Sora heartless, now if he wanted to keep Sora distracted would'nt you think he create images of people, like Kairi , who Sora would have a hard time to fight against.
9) Ok this may not really be a moment, bot oh well I thought it was cute. The one where Sora was falling into darkness and he hears Riku voice in his head taunting him saying that he thought Sora was stronger then that. Sora after he hears that stands up once again.
10) The last moment they have in the game is when Sora is shutting the door on Riku, and Riku says take care of Kairi. I think here he finally realizes that Sora truly cares about Kairi and not him. So in conclusion I think Riku loved Sora, but Sora didn't return the feelings. How sad, but still that does'nt stop me from writing fanfiction about them. I love them together (sniffle) Riku/Sora forever |

I was so having a debate with my friends about this. They were like, "Come on, it's obvious Riku and Sora are gay!" and I was like "Can't people of the same sex be friends without being canon?" Apparently NOT according to them. :lmao:
Sigh. Sokai is so canon it's not even funny. Why people think otherwise I will never understand.

I actually like SoRiku, but I would never argue that it's canon. As if they're going to have YAOI in a game with Disney characters, anyway? Lol. Please, no. Pure fanon.

I don't hate Soriku, I actually kind of have a softspot for it. When people go around saying it is canon on the otherhand . . . I don't know, it ticks me off.
That was also part of my argument, but my friend said that Squeenix had more influence on Kingdom Hearts than Disney. <_<

Okay - in some instances of the game, I did see some glimmerish oozing-bubble-filled Sora/Riku moments, and it prolly was seen that way by many others, but I doubt Squeenix intended to hint at it. Just best friends helping out each other in cheesy epic, epic ways. :lol: (And... yeah, Sora/Kairi shouldn't be so hard to catch. They're so cute. :3)
(There are actually debates for this?!)
Anyway: I'm sorry, I wasn't here to sign up - just wanted to share a thought or two. I don't really have an opinion on the matter. ^^; Fans are fans; I respect it.

I HATE SoRiku. It so stupid and makes absolutely NO SENSE.
Just becuase Sora is looking for Riku (And trying to get to Kairi) in KH1 doesn't make him gay, and the final scene in KH2 doesn't make them either.

This is the question I always pose for rabid Soriku's:
If you knew your girlfriend/boyfriend was perfectly safe from's harm's way back at home, whereas you had no idea where your best friend was and didn't know even have a clue if she/he was alive or not, who would you worry over more?
Of course when you finally were able to see your significant other you'd be happy, right? But more than likely you would cry over the best friend you haven't seen in years.
At least, I know I would. :sad:
