Hello! I really love this website and I am glad there are others out there who love and understand the love between Cloud and Aerith...

Well, My name is Heather. I love to play video games but I have to amite I am not one to play RPGs (because I am such a short attention span and I don't normally have the pactiences for them) but luckily, I have an older brother who loves them and plays them all the time. So, growing up, I watched him play them. Intresting enough when he played FF7 I didn't get to see the scene in which she dies but I did get to see the majority of the game. Now, I didn't really know much about Cloud, Aerith, Tifa or anyone else for that matter but I knew Aerith was always my brother's favorite character. And me, I knew my brother doesn't just like any "average" woman so I wanted to know what made Aerith so special that he just didn't like Tifa (like most of the people I knew of) so that's when I began to do my research on her. To make a long story short I began to see, read, and understand that it was Aerith who Cloud truly loves.

I'm happy to say that I am now playing the game for myself but I just reached the part in which she dies and well, I not only cried but I couldn't go on the game anymore. Don't worry, I'll finish it but it just doesn't seem the same without here there. I also can't get enough of Advent Children. I cry when I see the few parts with Aerith again.

Their love to me, is amazing. They broke all barriers, even death, to still be together. I finally found "Maiden who travels the planet" and it moved me so much. She never stopped looking for him, never gave up. She knew he still needed her and she found her way back to him. It goes to show me that true love never dies.

Anyways, I love this site. I am so glad I found it once again. I am happy to be among people who feel the same way as I do about them. ^^

wow i love your introduction.. and like you when i was really small i used to watch my brother play FF VII and even at that age i knew it it was Cloud and Aerith.. i absolutely adored them.. and then i played it for myself and it was amazing... everything you said about their love is so true.. and when died .. God probably one of the saddest moments of my life.. ive never cried that much and i found it hard to continue the game without her there.. how can you have FF VII without Aerith.. but she was never forgotten always remembered .. always helping Cloud even when she passed away.. and well i hope you finish it too so you can see all the amazing things about FF VII... have a great time here and its great to see a new member!! feel free to PM me anytime you want about anything and HAVE FUN!

I really like your intro and especially this part:

When I first started playing FF7 2 years ago, I was immediately drawn to Aerith. Maybe it was the fact that she was dressed differently from everyone else in the slums so she stood out from the crowd, I don't really know.

When I first met her, I immediately admired her for not being afraid and running from the explosion like everyone else. It was also cute how she offered him a flower for 1 gil.

Their scene in the church is really sweet and its my favorite in the entire game. I loved how Cloud helped her face off the Turks and how he accepted being her bodyguard for a date instead of gil. I love all their scenes in the game and their date was pretty sweet but when she got killed I was pissed. I hated Sephiroth at that moment as much I was aching to kill him right there and I was still shocked that she was really gone. I didn't play for FF7 after and actually have never really completed it. I got a save file from my boyfriend so I got a chance to fight Hojo and Sephiroth but I never completed disc 2.

That was what my dad told me when she died, not to be sad because love goes beyond the grave and it turned out to be true in AC so I'm happy to have C/A in a spiritual relationship since it is more powerful then anything they had in life.
