The Final Case

This is a bizarre fic. It's AU, and the basic concept is a complete rewrite of FF7 from the beginning... as if it were done in film-noir style (you know, 1950's mystery style). Most of the plot elements are very similar. The story is told from the POV of Vincent Valentine, a Private Investigator hired to track down Sephiroth. The characters actually fall into this style surprisingly well, especially Vincent who seems made for this role. He trades in the cloak for a trench coat, and his coffin for a cramped, dingy office, but is otherwise almost identical in personality and style. Anyway I've only written the first two chapters.... more is coming.

I command you all to read!!! I have, and you know I love it. ^_^ The style really does fit FFVII perfectly, and you pull it off incredibly well. And the changes are for the better- Vincent can pull off wearing a trenchcoat off wonderfully well. I will be bugging you to write more all the time. . .
