My mother has been a fan of Rush for over 30 years (her favorite member is Neil Peart) and she passed it on to me. No one can deny 2112 being an awesome CD, or Geddy Lee has a perfect voice, or Neil Peart is a lyrical genius. So is anyone else out there a fan of this prog rock group?
Definitely not a bad group. Don't know a whole lot about them, but I have a few songs I really like from them, such as "Limelight", "Closer to the Heart" and "YYZ". I think my dad has a few of their CD's, so I might check out some more of their material. But not bad at all. ^_^

Was just having a look through some threads and had to comment on this...
LOTS of people deny all of that. Geddy Lee's voice splits the crowd like no other. People either love it or think he's just pretty much wailing. Personally, I love it. Again, with Peart's lyrics. Recently he was named the second worst lyricist in rock by some lame publication, but I love his lyrics and his music.
Rush are awesome. I got into them when I heard YYZ on Guitar Hero and then their (then) new single Far Cry. I bought their Snakes & Arrows album and I listen to it almost weekly. Brilliant band.
