Somewhat bizarre. At first I thought, how nice.. an Aerith figure.. then I saw the set of pictures below. Blah, they shouldn't do that to her.

That site goes nuts with all their anime figures like that. It's apparently what their buyers want. D:

Their "buyers" must be sex-starved mental deficients. It's insulting to Aerith, as far as I'm concerned. I know, I'm pathetic for taking offense at how people treat a video game character.. but eh.. can't help it.

Most Japanese anime sites are that way so it isn't a huge surprise to me. :lol:

I try not to take too much offense, since I've put the Playarts Cloud and Vincent figures into ridiculous poses as well--basically, we all knew someone was gonna do it. =p Just be glad her panties aren't removable.

If they're just playing with the specs/features of the action figure, they might as well show the crotch guard that the Sephiroth PlayArts action figure is wearing, too. :whistle:

But *ahem* setting that aside, I am more interested to know whether it's true that PlayArts really released an Aerith action figure or not? :unsure: If yes, is that the one? And when did they release it?

With a domain name called moeyo, it's not surprising to see that kind of stuff. And by moe, I don't mean "burn". It's an otaku term. Learned it from Lucky Star. ^_~

If I remember correct, that site has similar photos of a Tifa figure, so it's not really a big surprise to see it done to the Aeris figure. :ermm:

Some of the pictures are quite nice, but some are....sick. It's not surprise for me-if you have seen sites like riuva.com and other "from otaku to otaku", you have seen every other japanese figure site.

If you are a usual browser of that website like me, you'll soon realize that page is worthless except it releases some latest news about FF playarts, whether they're official or not. And sadly, I found moooooore of Tifa's hentai playarts there (I mean, those pictures with posture that makes you scream out "Eeewww!"). The way those sicko worship her always irritates me, but actually, you'll get used to it by and by (I sometimes choose to igore them :) ).

About the website pictures, I don't really take offense to it. Afterall, I suppose that site is well-known for doing that to whatever dolls they can get their hands on. :unsure: Just because Aerith represents purity doesn't mean someone's gonna abide by that rule when they've got a poseable doll in their hands. ^^;

Actually, I think that site's only intending to show EVERY single angle of the dolls...

I decided to obey the screaming 7-year-old that still exists inside of me and still begs for a Cloud and Aeris doll even now. xD I even got Tifa... @.@ I dunno why, it was just cheaper to get three at once so that's what I did. The way that one site in the first post shows them off kind of made me feel awkward about buying them, but I think they're definitely all worth getting since they're made rather well.
