I never thought I'd like emo until I heard their sound. They're really good and their sound and style really caught my interest and attention. I especially like "Beautiful Lie" and "The Kill". :P

I never knew 30 Seconds to Mars were emo. Even Wiki says they are (Wiki knows all o_o ). Well, some of their songs are good. Attack, Beautiful Lie, The Kill, but some are repetitive such as From Yesterday. Plus I think Jared Leto steals everyone else's focus, so it's more "Jared Leto and his band" which just seems a bit unfair.

Frankly, I don't consider them emo. Sure, they kinda look it, but not all of their songs are emo and all.

Good band. "Battle of One" is definitely at the top of my list, followed by "Attack". My friend introduced me to them a while back and I thought they were just alright, but their music has grown on me since. ^_^

Hmm, they're alright. I like three of their songs. The Kill of course, is what got me to listen to more of their stuff. The video for that song was awesome, basing it off of the shining. ;D

And, 30secs I consider as alternative. There's not a lot of people who know what "true emo" bands were/are. xD I guess it's all a matter of opinion anyway, since the term "emo" is risky business.

I iz agree. They are pretty hot. :3 Jared Leto is feckin' fine, gawdz I love them, but not as much as I used too. I try to take interest in less popular bands. But none the less, they have fabulous music. The vocals are lovely and the lyrics aren't gay.
