Okay, I know that there is some vid makers here. So I have a question.

Does anyone know why the video part of the FMV that I want to use isn't loading? The music is working fine, but I can't see the video. I use Windows Movie Maker and Windows Media Player if that helps anyone understand my problem better. Please tell me there is a way to fix this. I want to make a video badly. :(

where did u get the video from?and what does ur monitor show?is it maybe a green nothing?

I got the videos from where I normally get them Blue Laguna. When I go to watch it, it does like it would normal music. In WMP, is plays the animation thingy with pretty colors, and in WMM, it just plays the sound and no animation thingy. Sorry if that doesn't make any sense.

Does that happen after you've done something to the clip?like cut it??well if yes then all you have to do is place the clip in wmm and save it but without doing anything to it.just resave it.it will be okay after that.if not...well dunno what's wrong then sorry :ermm: :no:

Sorry for the late reply. As of saving it, it would only let me save it as a project. What's the point in doing that since it's not really anything? Did that work for you? If it did, then I'm going to save it as a project.

EDIT: I got it to play in Windows Media Player, but it's still the same for WMM. Still just the sound. Any help from anyone?

EDIT: I got WMM to play .wmv files, but it won't play anything from Blue Laguna. The only place that I can get videos is from kh-vids, so that means that I can only make Kingdom Hearts videos. If anyone can help with this problem, I will love you forever.

You could save it only as a project? :huh: all you have to do is just resave it as a movie file.well dunno maybe something's wrong with your wmm.
Anyway i have a way for you to download the clips you want BUT again in order to use them you will have to resave them before you use them.Btw when i say resave i mean go to a new project,place the clip and just save it again as a movie file(just in case you didn't understand right).So visit vixy.net and place the url of any video from youtube and press start.it will start converting the video and then downloading it.
Note:vixy.net doesn't always work,try many times if something is difficult to get.

That happens to me too. It's really about the file type you are trying to download, they are AVI files. I have yet to figure out how to use them in WMM myself :no:

The thing is, they worked on my other computer. I don't get why they aren't working on this one.

I think u need a codec 4 avi. vids some avi vids are able to watch ans some not. I had the same problem so I couldn't even use the windows movie maker for convert them I suggest you to download the codec so ur vids can work or ask someone to give u already a WMV (that's what I did).
