Title: Something That Really Pissed Me Off
Description: MOTP according to FF.wikia

While I was browsing through finalfantasy.wikia.com I read something that completely ruined my day. You can find this in the site's AC section and it's about MOTP

QUOTE
This is the story of Aeris Gainsborough while she is in the Lifestream after her unfortuate death at the hands of Sephiroth. Aeris meets many characters from AVALANCHE who have died in the game including Jessie, Wedge, and Biggs. The story also tries to answer the debate about who Aeris, and she reveals that while at some point she had feelings for Cloud, it was Zack whom she truly cared about. In the end it reveals that Aeris saved the planet from Meteor by summoning the Lifestream.

Maiden that Travels the Planet is not an official work of Square or an official part of the FFVII Compilation.

At first I though that i had somehow gotten blind or maybe I drank to much beer yesterday but when I read it again it was still the same. I mean WTF!!! It's like a f***in Cloti made this section up. Didn't they read MOTP or something. And the bit about how MOTP is not an official part of the compilation is just BS. The admin of ff.wikia should at least correct that section or remove it all together. I even tried to check the MOTP individual section and to my surprise there wasn't even an article dedicated to MOTP. Damn! the last time I was this mad was when the lakers lost game 7 to PHX back in 06

Any wiki site is bound to have false information somewhere. And it probably was a Cloti who wrote it. If the site is at all dedicated to giving out accurate information it'll be changed at some point, so don't worry about it.

Well. I hope they chage it soon coz if they don't then I'll be really pissed.

Shouldn't the admin of those sites check the information that's being posted, for something that inaccurate to be allowed by the admin is just wrong.

unfortuate

This came from an official source, I tell you.

Word of advice as a researcher: never completely trust anything that comes from a source site that has the word "wiki" on the name (i.e. Wikipedia, etc.) because anyone can edit them. You'll only go crazy if you take what is written in those websites to heart.

Yeah, don't ever trust that site. MoTP wasn't written by Square, but it was closely watched by them none the less. It still counts as proof.

QUOTE (www.animefringe.com)
Director Tetsuya Nomura approached Studio BrentStuff about reissuing the book, and Benny Matsuyama was commissioned to write a short story told from Aerith's perspective, entitled Hoshi wo Meguru Miko, which literally translates as The Holy Maiden who Travels the Planet. Despite the fact that the tale itself was not written by the scenario writer Kazushige Nojima, it was written under the watchful gaze of Square Enix.

So there you have it. :gift:

See, this is why I hate Wiki. If Maiden showed anything, it showed how much she DIDN'T like Zack. There are small instances in which she showed she at least cared about Zack's well-being, but nothing romantic. Clearly, in Maiden, it's obvious her feelings reside with Cloud now.

And Maiden counts as proof. D:< I'd be mad if it didn't. I LOVED reading it. ;D Over and over again. xD

I felt kinda bad for Zack, though.

I've changed it, how is it now?

Aeris meets many characters from AVALANCHE who have died in the game including Jessie, Wedge, and Biggs. The story also tries to answer the debate about who Aeris cares for the most, who is Cloud, shown in this quote. "Even so, his looks, voice and personality weren't similar and he also made her think of him as a mysterious person... But it soon didn't matter. She loved him much more than her first love."

Maiden that Travels the Planet may not be offical work of Square Enix, however, it was issued by them.

It's Wikipedia, so I wouldn't be surprise at the editing of information.

Sooner or later, someone might think 'hey, that's not right!' and change it, whether it's our side, the Cloti fans or someone else.
