This is a club for all the heros that died in Final Fantasy. I figured that they deserved some recognition since they did give the ultimate sacrifice. :D

Characters that qualify have to be good and they had to die while doing something for the good guys. The characters also had to actually die, not "ZOMG I will totally die! Oh! just kidding i somehow surived. LOLZ.

I'd like to join. Character deaths make me sad. Particularly Zack's death and Aerith's death both hit me quite hard.

Ah, and Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie all died in FFVII, too.

Oh I forgot about Biggs, Wedge and Jessie. :o Crazy too because I really like those characters.

Could I join I'am a big fan of Jecht and it must have taken a lot of bravery to give his life for his freind to kill Sin and so that his son could live happily.

The one that dawned on me the most was Aerith, because i used her all the time in my party which included Cloud and Red and when she was gone it dawned on me that she would never be back by my side. I missed her so much that i actually used a gameshark cheat so she would be in the whole game.

FFIII: the girl's name is Elia or Aria in the DS-version
FFIV: I thought his name was Tellah :unsure: (+ Anna)
FFXII: Gabranth and Drace?

- Ricard's. I loved him with all his dragooness.

- Guess I have to say Aeris'.

- Buganhagen's, even when he isn't in the list. I just loved his laugh and the way he floated around his house. :lol:
How did you feel about the death of the characters that died that you are familiar with?
- Mostly shocked and annoyed that some of my fave characters just decide to kick the bucket.

Dyne also died in FFVII.... As did Don Corneo. o_O

Oh and Cait Sith #1!

CS#1 went into the Temple of Ancients to retrieve the Black Materia, and he even said that if more Cait Siths ever come to replace him, never forget about him. I actually cried when he... died....broke...got smashed to pieces.

Probably the most memorable death would be Aerith's. I cried a ton.

Both Zack's and Aerith's deaths hit me hardest. Two of my favorite characters, both really close to Cloud. D:

I think all character deaths are sad. Even if you're not particularly fond of said character, you're still with them for a portion of the game, and you feel connected to them. Which is why I'm always pissed off and sad when a character dies.

My dad named Cait Sith after me when he played it, then he told me what happened.

All of them. I get a bond with every character, and when they die, I can't help but cry. This also ties in with the question.

What were the cirucmstances that Anna died under? I can't quite remember how exactly she died.

And I have not played all the way through XII, what were the circumstances for Gabranth and Drace? Were these characters good? Or turned good?

I'd like to join but I think it is fine to miss bad dead characters. I was devastated when I thought Rufus Shinra had died. I think it is kinda crappy he came back though... <_< Plus Dyne wasn't exactly bad...he was just angry and a bit crazy. But it wasn't really his fault.

Ok I'll add Rufus since he did indirectly help the characters. :D

What? Dyne isn't gonna be included? I really liked Dyne, and he wasn't necessarily evil, just very angry and a bit insane.... I consider Dyne a hero in his own right, but whatever. Just add Cait Sith #1!

And Rufus didn't die, lolz.

i'd like to join, i cried too when cait sith died it was sad to me.

but Aeriths was even sadder for me.

and although he did'nt die in the game nanaki's father standing atop the hill was my all time fav the whole story between the two was just too sad.

LOL Rufus has been deleted for magically surviving the explosion in FF7 without a scratch on his body.

I'm still debating about Cait Sith since he really didn't die and Reeve was the person controlling him the entire time.

So, should we include Kuja? I know he was the bad guy in FFIX but at the end he did change and he did save the party.

And technically, Cait Sith #1 is his own character. He's different from all the other Cait Siths, he's the only one to die.

What about Cid from FF6 he died and he was a good character he even helped the FF6 party.

Optional, he didn't have to die if you gave him the right fish.

And the espers from FFVI as well.

Maybe I can have a section for the "iffy" characters. You know, the ones that could die but you could save them? Shadow and Cid FFVI would fall into that category as well as Tidus since he can come back in X2.

Shuyin and Lenne FFX-2 i know Shuyin tried to kill Y.R.P but he was confussed he dident know where his love was.
Kinda like Cloud and Aerith dont you think.
