Well I almost got 100% already in ff x-2 but I am still missing the necesary parts to chalenge the machina experiment in djose temple.

How much parts do I need? I got at least 1 of every part.

Also to open the hidden deepts in the chocobo ranch wath do I have to do? I already got 5 level 5 chocobos and I have been sending them to the calm lands for alot of time by now but nothing happens. :(

Also do I have to BEAT shinra in order to get 100%?

Have you played it through once? Its hardly possible to getting 100% on one play through.

And you mean a secret dungeon with the chocobo thing? Send them to Mi'ihen Highroad, it's there.

Sorry, one more question. You know the culprit episode for Mi'ihen Highroad in CH5. Did you get either the Chocobo eater or Rikku as the culprit? Otherwise you can't get 100% if you got someone else.

I got the chocobo eater as the guilty bastard, and I am not refering to the mi'heim road cave, its a cave that is in the chocobo ranch where you get the golden chocobo or sumethin like that and a super special awesome garmet grid.

I fought the machina experiment already but it hasnt gone out of control yet.Djose temple is still in hotspot and I havent got the episode complete there.

Oh gosh. I think you need 5 of A parts, 5 of Z parts, and 5 of another one to get the machina to level 5.

Yep, you have to beat Shinra at Sphere Break to get the 100%, 'cause when you beat him he gives you the Lady Luck dressphere. It's easier to beat him the first time you challenge him than it is if you lose and have to play him again, btw. I'm not sure whether you have to actually beat him the first time to get the 100%, though.

For the machina experiment, I can't remember how many of each part I dug up, but I remember that Z assembly parts seem to level the machina up faster.

Oh, two reeeeeally important things.
1: Did you get healed by Moogle!Yuna right at the very beginning of the game while chasing Leblanc? 'Cause that counts towards 100% too, and it's easy to miss.
2: Did you give the Awesome Sphere to the Youth League? You can't get 100% in one playthrough if you gave it to New Yevon.

Unfortunately, there is a lot more to the 100% thing then one might think. For instance, you have to complete the High Road mystery with Rin as the culprit. No easy task. Plus there is lots of little things like resting in the inn every chapter to see the sort of bizarre scene where Brother confides to Barkeep about his unrequited love for Yuna.
