I've always liked Linkin Park, they were a really heavy hard rock band that I could just plain jam out to! :punk:
My favorites include "Faint" and "Nobody's Listening", "Cure for the Itch" and "Session". All very good! ^_^ Haven't bought the new CD yet though...

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LINKIN PARK!!! their one of my favourite bands... i love faint numb crawling .. mehh every single song from Meteora and Hybird Theory.. their probably one of the first bands to come up with an album where i didnt skip tracks and listened to every song they had on it.. but their latest album was such a disappointment... it was just bad.. i know people are saying how they liked how theyve changed styles and all but except for one song it was GAHHH!!! I love Chester to death but Mike is hardly in it except for 3 songs... and the songs were just weird.. i dunno i wish they make their next album like the first 2

Used to love 'em to death. I somewhat grew away from them, but I still like them.

I <3 Linkin Park's music. I have most of their CDs and I have made a video to one of their songs. I'm going to do another one sooner or later. "Breaking the Habit," "Numb," "Faint," "Crawling," and "No Roads Left" are some of my favorites. I've made a video to "Bleed It Out." "Breaking the Habit" and "Valentine's Day" are on my list of songs to make videos to.
The one of the things I didn't like about the new one was the fact that there was a lot of politics hinted in their songs. I don't like politics. I also loved their old style but some of the new songs are pretty good.

I used to think that, but after reading a recent interview, Mike and Chester refused to reveal the meaning of the songs on Minutes to Midnight, saying that listeners can decide for themselves. Either they're so confident in their abilities that there's multiple meanings in each song, or they've simply made songs that sound good with no real lyrical meaning. The Little Things Give You Away is clearly stated in the album booklet as being wrote after visiting hurricane damage, so it would make sense to say the song is about that. As for everything else, I'm not convinced.

I've always liked LP. Reanimation was my personal favorite, and I saw them live during the Projekt Revolution tour this summer. They kicked ass live. ^_^

:o
Envyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I so wanted to go see them, but oh no.
Scott: I think it is acutally up to the listener for the meaning. What I've Done, to me, is about war and those things.
