The publisher, supervisor and manager are fined for the release of this MV on business without permission. The judge fined the company Phantom 1,0000 thousand WOM(about 1190.5 thousand Yen in JP), and 6000 thousand WOM for the supervisor and manager(about 710. 7 Yen in JP).

It's only fair. They really should've asked for permission first. I did see a little disclaimer stating that the scene was copyrighted in FFVII:AC on the bottom of video, but somebody should have contacted SE to let them know. And it didn't really seem like a tribute, only a way to use the FF name and its fight scene as a way to sell off her song/CD. <_<
