Well, well, well. Welcome to the thread full of metal, rock, and that kind of thing. Tell me your favorite kind of metal, artists, bands, albums, and songs. Me?

Well...I'll leave out the obvious (Nightwish) for now.

A rock band which I think everyone should check out is Coheed and Cambria. They have four albums at present and each one is a part of the story called The Amory Wars. The first album which they released is the second part of the story, second album is the third part, and the third and fourth albums made up the fourth part. The story ended with the last album and they have still to release the album which will make up the first part of the story.

Got it? Good.

As for the music itself, they're very talented musicians. The bassist doesn't just follow the guitar riffs. The guitar riffs are complex and rarely stay still. Plus Claudio's voice is AMAZING. Very highly recommended band. Check out the song A Favor House Atlantic for one of the catchiest chourses you've ever heard.

I agree with Within Temptation, though I think every album is excellent.

No doubt I'll have more to add at some other time :D
