As I mentioned in the title this thread is about information concerning those two games. I wish to have some place where I can gather every little thing I hear and find about these games as I am rather eagerly waiting for their release. It's still incredibly difficult to find new information about these two games but if you dig deep enough you find something here and there.

First of course I'll link the two trailers we've all seen million times, no doubt.

And finally some written word. I looked all over the internet for the TGS 2007 trailers but either they haven't been released to the public yet or they are just so well hidden that it makes me cry! It's been months now already!

I was also surprised how few sites have covered the two TGS 2007 trailers, but at least I managed to find few decent ones that reveal new information to those who do not know where to look. These two impressions are worth the read so check them out.

Here's a little part that caught my eye about FF Versus XIII.

If that's true then this will be the first FF game where we see blood, and blood means a rating above Teen in most cases. Part of me would like this, if it also means the game is more mature in other ways as well (and no, I do not mean sex :P), I want another main character that can rival Aeris' sad faith!
But, then a little part in me is also bit worried as far too many game developers nowdays are making too many compromises to please the masses bit more than I'd like them to.
But whatever will happen, an M rating would certainly give the developers more freedom at least if nothing else.

Now if anyone finds anything new then do post your findings here and make me happy as I am constantly searching the net for new information.
And of course as this is a discussion forum by all means post your personal feelings and opinions here in this thread as well so we can keep things in order. :)

whoaa whoa whoa.. hold up does any one know where the trailer that their talking about for FF Versus is? i know the regular one with the lead and everything but not the one their talking about with the school girl and his freind and such... ahhh if anyone know please do tell!!!! but again FF versus is turning out to seem more and more amazing by the day i cant wait for it to come out... and from what their saying.. a fantasy based in a reality.. wow .. but the inner fan girl inside of me is flashing red lights upon hearing about the male and female meet..... were they lovers before or something like that?... if they were.. then nooooo my Bishie!!! taken.. nut meh it will be ok if it turns out to be like what Cloud and Aerith have.. but once again I NEED THAT NEW TRAILER!!!

FFXIII Jump Festa Trailer Summary
This years Final Fantasy XIII Jump Festa trailer was shown today (in the Closed Mega Theatre) and is once again an extension of all previous FFXIII trailers featuring new scenes mixed in with old ones.

This time, the trailer features a new song.
The train scene from the E3 2006 and CLOUD DVD is extended.
The scene with the Blonde man on the motorcycle is extended to show him summoning Shiva.
The Pig tailed girl from the TGS trailer in September appears in this trailer. We now know she has green eyes. From their trailer report, FF&KH Blog believe she summons Carbuncle (the GF from FFVIII and Summon from other titles).
Cocoon is possibly 13 centuries old or was maybe built in the 13th century, the translation is unclear.
Another woman appears in the trailer who is described as not looking human. She uses a harp and the descriptions sounds like she could be another summon, possibly Siren.
After the Final Fantasy XIII logo appears, an "Only for Playstation 3" message is displayed.

I was dreaming of getting a PS3 when FFXIII comes out... but now that they are no longer going to be backward compatible with the PS2.... :mad:

Ah, I'll still get one, I'm sure... :P I'm just miffed at their stupidity.

They removed backwards compatibility(and some other stuff as well) to decrease price to manufacture and sell each unit. I would rather pay for a 500$ 80gig PS3 rather than a 600$ 60gig PS3 with BW compatibility. Can always get a used PS2 for less than 100$ that can play all PS2 games rather than 99%(I don't know the exact percentage) of them though.

My favorite part of all this is actually seeing Shiva again. :fangirl: I love Shiva to death. I'd buy it just for her. :lol:

hmm so THATs the plot ... wow that sounds really interesting.. so many possibilities but the split screen? I would love to see how thats going to work unless your playing a multi player first person shooter or a racer I'm not quite sure how their going to make that work... but it is Square after all and I'm sure their planning something incredible!

Lightning's leading the resistance? Interesting, who knows how SE will developed that story.

I wonder about the split screen, will it show Lightning and Mr.33cm (hahah) and their point of view from different areas or same event?

I know for sure I read an interview and Nomura said that they were making a female version of Cloud and that's how "Lightning" was made. :D

First FFXII Scan: LOVE Lightning's character design, then yet... why the hell does her sword have a cape? wtf? (Reminds me of an episode of ILNY2... "you took a liquor bottle and dressed it in a cape") Girl with the pigtails on the bottom is giving off a total 'younger girl (Yuffie/Selphie/Eiko/Rikku/Penelo)' vibe with her expression. She looks SO cute, btw. :D

Second FFXII Scan: Teehee! The three dudes look adorable there. Also, interesting pillar-thingy in that tiny pic!

Third FFXII Scan: Dig the blonde dude's look! Also, why the hell does Lightning's skirt have zippers on it?... On the bottom?

Fourth FFXII Scan: Pigtails girl looks so cute! I want to know more about her!

Fifth FFXII Scan: It took me FOREVER to figure out that was Siren with a harp.

Sixth FFXII Scan: I dig Carbuncle's look :D

First Versus Scan: That hair is sooo emo.

Second Versus Scan: This is weird, I like her outfit design from the back, but in that pic showing the front it just looks like some tacky whore dress. Hopefully it'll look better once I see her in a pose that's not as awkward.

Third Versus Scan: Teehee at awkward!Blonde with emo!hair. Uggh at the way emo!hair's shirt makes it look like he has breasts.

Fourth Versus Scan: Awkward!blonde is awkward. That dude's mohawk-like hair makes me giggle. I will not be able to take him seriously.
