- On the last one you should lower her bangs to shrink the size of her forehead.
- Her hand should be a notch larger
- Cloud should have a little more hair

Did you draw your ava and siggy? It seems so...I really like your art, you must have practised a lot but we can see your lines came easily... naturally. You use shadows very well too.

Anyway, you have a great style so don't let anybody pressure you in changing that. I believe that your own drawing style can earn its rightful trademark in the world of Final Fantasy 7 fanart.

And just like what Coral said, your lines are very natural. You really know what you're doing. :peace: What medium did you use? Were they done straight on open canvas with a mouse or graphic tablet?

As for your question: I use photoshop 9.0 with a panel board(WACOM), so I paint pics above with a pen instead of mouse. Hope you know what I mean. D:

Originally, I planned to contribute it as one piece in our CXA 100 challenge theme, but......(dun let me scold myself again :blush: ). I try to portray them to have something in common, you know, loneliness. IMO, young!Aerith dislikes herself for being a "special" kind while Cloud always yearns to be somebody special in his youth. They're so different yet share the same loneliness in their childhood life, I think. (another similarity to meh~Puhaha~X))

If you think it silly then forget it, enjoy it as simply a CXA sketch~ :cleris:

And a question. Do you use pen and scan, mouse, or tablet?? I can't tell in some of the pictures. Some look like pen and others look like it was done using a tablet. And if you use a mouse... O.O ...I'll give you that kind of expression. =)

And that last sketch is nice. Makes me want to get out a pen and paper and start drawing... but I'm too lazy to look for them. =)

:fangirl: Yeah I use pen and scan first and then color the sketch with web-pen and WACOM (tablet), the software I use is photoshop 9.0... Sometimes I got lazy so I'll start drawing sketches by tablet, but that'll be mostly in chibi style.... :P
