All that aside, Daises is the sweetest thing on TV. The lines are great and the cinematography is just beautiful. And they had me at "yellow flower fields". Please go check it out! Plus Ned's always telling her she can't do stuff (*cough*because it's too dangerous*cough*). I think I've transferred all my Cleris affection to Ned and Chuck. :lol:

Oh it's a new TV series from the US. It's at it's 4th episode right now. Every episode if pure fluff! Basically the main guy can bring anyone he touches back from the dead, but touching the person again means that he/she will go back to being dead--forever. Here's my fave fanvid for it on YouTube:

I remember yin-chan commented a long time ago that the flowers on Cloud's desk at the end of AC look like yellow daisies, and that they mean "I'll never forget you". :wub:

I'VE SEEN IT!!!! I love that show! But I never thought of it as Clerisy. Probably because Chuck was brought back from the dead and Aerith wasn't. Hmmm... But still, good show!

Oh and I read a write-up about Daisies that compares it to when Orpheus brought Eurydice back from the Underworld but was forbiden to turn around and look at her on the way up. Which he did--so she was lost forever. I've also found an essay where someone compared the flower field scene in AC to that myth, so that's why my Nuck-Cleris obsession grew even larger, I guess. :giggle:

haha didn't think anybody on here watched it but I'm so glad some of you have.

Best new show on tv and is simply brilliant. Great writing, acting and superb directing.

The quirkyness and the narration might turn some people off but I still really recommend it.

Oh I *LOVE* the theme that they play in the background whenever something sweet happens! If anyone knows where to get it do tell! I like the narrator, too. He's the guy that narrates Harry Potter. Oh, I just did a bit of research on the show - it's by the same guy who wrote Dead Like Me, which is one of my favourite TV shows ever. :D I'll have to buy it, or watch it when it comes out in the UK. :)

Yup yup! And he was the co-exec producer of Heroes, too! ^_^ I read that the plot about someone bringing people back from the dead was actually for Dead Like Me but he decided to save the idea!

My fave line for episode 5 is, "Nobody misses your father, Ned. What they do talk about is how you turned out to be such a nice, wonderful, boy... Man, even." :sad: :wub:

Yeah that was so sad yet sweet. :( I think besides that my favourite part was Chuck dressing up as a ghost and saying "Trick or treat" to her aunts. :sad: It broke meh heart. :P

Yeah, do watch! They didn't have one last week but it's back this week! And the writers' strike is killing me. Daisies was supposed to be 22 episodes, but if the strike drags on, they're gonna make episode 9 the season finale. Nooo... :sad: Armageddon is upon us!

Haha this week's Daisies was starting to feel highly familiar. My rabid Cleris mind is already typecasting the characters. We have Ned with two girls, and the ending quote by the narrator said it all, "The piemaker was saddened that Chuck could hold Digby, while he had no one, save the waitress - who he now realised he did not want to hold. Not in that way."

My fav scene this week!

Daisies deals with the arguments we've always heard against Cleris, on whether it's possible for Cloud to continue loving her since they're apart. So through my Cleris-tinted shades, we have Nuck as Cleris and Olive as Tifa, the long-suffering girl who's been there forever, working together with him in 7th Heaven The Pie Hole, but who is terribly unappreciated. And gentle giant Barret Emerson!

OMG! Clorith lurve! xD Its a disease that spreads! I want to watch it! But my speakers are broken D;

Ned finally told Chuck he killed her Dad! Oh the drama! XD

I love you show, so many good moments packed into every episode(Lily being high was hilarious, the murder was good as I'll never look at a snowman the same way again and Olive hiding Chuck was sweet too)

YES! I know what you mean! Oh man, why, why?! I want my next episode of Daisies so badly. And the whole episode was so pretty with all the heavy snowfall. Chuck looked especially pretty sitting on the rooftop. Kinda reminded me of Aerith at the end of KH2. ^_^

The mermaid when Lily was high was a really nice touch!
