And honestly, I call Aeris different things at different times, I really don't take a stance either way. I just go with whatever everyone else is calling her at the time.

That sounds so cool! I hope a clip will be put on youtube eventually. I'd love to see it, and it'll be a while before I get the game. ^^;;

What a... strange choice of words "tinder box of yours" to mean forced prostitution... or maybe SE localization team wants it to be below PG13 or something... ^^;;

It's great to know that the CloudxAerith influence is still evident on other games such as Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm proud of them. ^_^'

It's a bit more tough to understand, but it's also so much more fitting considering the time period and setting of the game. Thanks for sharing, icor!

I think it's more a case of wanting to use fancy language rather than trying to keep the rating down. I mean, they're happy enough for Argath to call people whoresons all the time, and with Rapha it's pretty clear that she was raped and abused by her adoptive father... the game just has great language. :D

But yeah, I agree. PSPFFT lines is the best thing SE delivered. Next to Yuffie, cleris, Auron, Ashe, KH and VP. ^^;

I love it when Aerith talks. It made my day when I read it. Somehow, it suits her extremely well.

Kudos to SE for the minimal changes. I'm very glad they kept this scene intact.

Although it bothers me a bit, it makes sense that Aerith is non-recruitable. This Aerith is just a flower girl in the slums rather than the magically gifted Cetra.

I think the scene shows more of Cloud's affection for Aerith than the other way around. Makes sense too. This Aerith never knew this guy.

What I always need to keep in mind is FFT Aerith and FFVII Aerith are two seperate people.

Anyways, the only thing I'm kinda sad of is that they changed one of Cloud's line; when he said, "What's this? My fingers are tingling, my eyes are burning, etc..etc..."

I liked that line cause it linked him to Aerith more.

I too got confused while I try to figure it out logically....I think what matters most is not "if that girl is Aerith or not', but Cloud's reaction to her. The conversation is just love, I love all sayings here anyway. :fangirl:

Exactly and I think that makes the proof in it even stronger. Most of the arguing is over how Cloud feels and this scene proves that she is very important to him. So much that he'd stop to gawk at a look-a-like.

I always thought Cloud did speak differently from them. He doesn't use silly words like "rum-dutches".

No it was not. It was a regular sprite and text scene simply because it's not important.

This doesn't seem to be from Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions. The dialogue was much more formal there, according to icor's transcription of the new translation...

They didn't ask for the FFT: TLW one. They asked for the scene. I'll try to find a TLW edition though. Just gimme a little time! :D

Because people are entitled to like whatever pairing they want, regardless of canon (or lack thereof). Cleris isn't canon; and even if it was, people don't have to like it. Some people like CloTi, some people think that's canon, and that's fine. Just because you don't understand a pairing doesn't mean people won't ship it. I love Aerith/Cissnei, and there's no canon basis whatsoever for that; it's just fun.

I think it's very cool that CxA are in this game together. I used to own Tactics way back when, but never beat it. Might just rebuy it for the CxA, though.
