Aeris Strife or Aerith Strife sounds a lot better than Tifa Strife, don't you think?
Aeris Strife sounds all courageous and steely while Tifa Strife is rather awkward.

Well, I bet both girls would keep their own names if they were to marry Cloudie-poo. I've never been a fan of Cloud's last name, to tell you the truth. Gainsborough and Lockheart sound much better, if you ask me. ^_^

So if something, Cloud should change his name (I hate rules we have in our society, why does the woman often have to change her name when marrying a man), so you need to think the other way and see which counds better. :D

Pardon for that, but to me, none of the names sounds nice to me O_o I like the names as they are now ^_^ After all, the names were given to the characters, because they suited them. It's a bit strange to think about exchanging surnames X_x And Strife is an ackward name to put after Aerith's or Tifa's names, if you allow me to say ^^; I like Gainsborough or Lockhart better, but after Cloud's name... it's strange O_O

Getting to the point, I really don't like the girls changing their surname to the man's, it usually sounds wierd. Aerith Strife, Tifa Strife, hell even ELENA Strife just sounds weird.

Now one reason I don't like Cloud's last name is it's meaning. "Strife", go look it up in the dictionary, it ain't pretty. Something like Cloud Gainsborough, Cloud Lockheart, or Cloud Kisaragi (Wow, that's got a nice ring to it) is a lot better.

Just an interesting note... I was looking for some pictures for my Vincent avvy/siggy set and discovered that there is a man here in the US named Vincent Valentine! :o He is a doctor in New Orleans. How cool is that??? B) :lol:
