I've read a lot of Fanfics over the past year and here are probably my top 5 fanfics of all time

1. Clock (My Favorite Fanfic of ALL TIME :woot:!!!! Written by arguebly my favorite author of all time!!! Too bad nesza hasn't updated it for like centuries now <_< but still a very good read)

2. Faults (another work by nesza. WARNING: VERY DARK CLERIS!!!! :devil: :cleris: and not for the weak in spirit)

3. Madly Truly Deeply (written by my 2nd favorite author Beeria. This is for those who like the idea of cloud sora and aerith as one family)

4. Desired but Forbidden (again another of nesza's works, this i think is actually the prequel to clock so you may want to read this first)

5. Ravenio ( another Dark Cleris. The endings bittersweet :sad: anyway you'll know what im talkin about after u read it)

I'm not going exclusively cleris with this but here I go...

A Piece of Yesterday by Shinsei-Kokoro - An awesome fan fic for the Card Captors Sakura series. I cried like a baby when I read it.

Fukanou by Pandora The Vampire - ReTi is shown at its finest in this amusing and well written story!

Falling In Love With Her by Val - Normally, DB fics are crap but this one won my heart time and time again.

Date With Destiny by Beeria - Normally, I'm not a huge Beeria fan but this story was pure art! It featured two of my favorite pairings: cleris and zeris. Plus the writing is amazing

A Day In The Other Life by AnimeAries402 - Feeding my love of Vaashe is the fantastic "A Day In The Other Life". Great characterization and the writing is just simply adorable.

My list is not just for Cloud/Aerith stories, but for my favorites of all time. So, at least one of these isn't even for a video game. *le gasp* xD

1. Other Halves ::and other tales:: by Vulpes Lapis - My favorite Kingdom Hearts fic EVER. There are two prequels to this, "The Sniper," and "Thirty Paces," and a sequel, "Paint the Sky With Stars." Read them, dangit.

2. Rules of Cosplay by LiLi-Sama - A KH fic that's just hilarious. If you like it, also read "INSTANT REPLAY," which is a spoof of Aerith's death, and then the author's cosplay group made a winning skit out of it for a convention. You'd also like "Genderless: One without a gender," another KH fic.

3. The Cheat Code by Fairy Godmoose - Yes, it's a self-insertion fic, but it is soooo good. There are two more after this one, "THE CHEAT CODE II: A Dream Worth Keeping," and "THE CHEAT CODE III: My Heart's a Battleground." The third one's still in progress, and I'm a character in it. Muwahaha. O.O

4. Saints and Saviors by EnchantedApril - A fanfic for the TV show House, M.D. It's just written beautifully, and it has a sequel, "Beneath the Surface." Check out her stories; you won't be disappointed.

5. Anything by Beeria and trankwility-. Enough said.

Glory Road by pomegrantedeux [PG, 1,617 words]

An amazing fic, written in second-person; which, in my opinion, is the hardest view-point to write from. The syntax is just perfect, and it flows so well.

Excerpt: You sacrificed everything to keep her with you, tender and safe in your head. She seemed so much more than you thought, Ancient and Beautiful and Everything Incomprehensible. She seemed unreal in your world of faded and blurred images, too crisp and clear and concise and that’s when you noticed the lifestream was flowing through her fingers and her blood was not like yours or Hers. You can still smell the flowers in her Church, when you think hard enough.

Clock really is the cream of the crop, but I wish she would update. Ah well, I have stories I haven't updated in years.

Let's see... anything by Icor is really, really good, but I have to take breaks between reading two different stories. A lot of them are so sad... :cry:

I can't believe I forgot about that story! It made me cry so much!

Yay for this, I love reading fanfiction and love to see recommendations so this is great. I will have to give these a look...maybe when Josh starts sleeping through the night :lol: Anyway here is my list

1) Moving the Unmovable by Tengoko , this is a ReTi story
Tengoko is definately one of my favorite authors

2) In the Absence of My Flower Girl by Only a Teenage Wasteland, another of my favorite authors

3) Hidden Ache by Sakura-Angel2, another ReTi story still in progress actually (thus why I normally stick to one-shots) :)

4) A Tiny Flower by Only a Teenage Wasteland (Cleris themed)

5) Stormy by Addy-kun


I know a lot of mine are oneshots but in many ways I enjoy them even more than a full saga because the possiblities are left open or you get a great glimpse of a situation and characters you love, or you may get a scene you always wanted for your favorite characters. Plus they are able to be read in one sitting when you don't have a lot of time.

I do really want to read more stories with many chapters, sometimes though I loose patience if the story is really good and then there is a really long break from the author, or sometimes the story is never finished. Anyway that is my quick rant but I am looking forward to checking out all these stories you all have posted :D Hopefully some of you will like something from my list too.

My favorite ff7 fanfics:

1. The Beloved by Icor. I was crying when I finished this. It was so beautifully written.

2. Name of the Game by Audrey. Reno/Elena. I loved the plot and the ending.

3. Timeless by Clorith. Reading this fic sealed my love for Cleris. I was new to ff7 when I stumbled upon this fic and after reading it, I appreciated Cloud's and Aeris' love for each other all the more.

4. Voices by Ardwynna Morrigu. I cried. I couldn't speak for a while after reading this.

5. Such Great Heights by slowGraffiti. Short, simple, strong.
