I have to agree, that is quite stupid and pretty pointless... can people not just join on their own free will rather than being "recruited" which i feel is as they put it

To be honest, a new LTD site would be nice if they'd behave rationally this time. It'd be cool to have an LTD forum with essays right there to refer to. I would be more than willing to write cleris essays for us and zeris essays for them to use if they felt compelled.

But sadly, as the bottom line showed, they are far too immature and irrational for this to happen...

aerislives, I wouldn't expend too much thought on the manner. It's strange that you got the invitation, but if they were really trying to mess with your head, they probably would've sent you some very interesting flames, not some kind of invite. It looks like a mistake to me. Probably should just forget it happened.

But I really would advise against signing up there with the sole intention of filling their forum with spam. We wouldn't want them to do that here, so why should we do that to them? It's a double-standard for us to do it but then expect them to have the courtesy to leave us alone.

Umm, I think you're reacting a bit too harshly to the email, aerithlives. It strikes me as a simple invite, nothing mocking about it. Perhaps they got your email off another forum?

And I don't think there's anything wrong with "recruiting" people for this, although I suppose it could be seen as borderline spam. :unsure: I dunno, it just seems rather harmless (the email, I mean-- I have no idea what they actually talk about on the forum itself). If you're not interested, just delete it.

And I'm with Sadhana-- I wouldn't encourage joining their forum just to spam or crash it.

Guys, can we seriously stop going over there and bringing it back here? They read through this forum, especially if it says anything about them. They talk about us, they make fun of us. But trust me, copying and pasting what they say about us doesn't make things any better. :no:

I understand that some of you have only been here for a few months, and I realize that there's a lot of curiosity when new members discover Strifeheart. If you really want a glimpse into their psyche, I suggest you sift through the Thread Graveyard instead of looking at their forum. Most of their past invasions are in there, and it's worth a few laughs.

But please, let's not be hypocritical. If they look at our forum and copy and paste what we say, we call them immature. But then we do the same thing, and it's okay? C'mon. They obviously want some privacy since only registered members can view their forum, so let's respect that.
