Just curious, but were those official SE scans, FFG?

They were from Japanese magazines like Dengeki and such. So, they were as official as you could get considering AC hadn't been released. Mags like that get their info directly from S-E.

I dunno if this being menioned before, but i rememver one of AC's PV used to have "Ai" (a japanese word, meaning "LOVE") while the scene is shifted during Cloud's putting Aerith into water. Is that also a random one-side Clerith vid too(non -official)? :dunno:

Hm, that's interesting to know. It seems that S-E relies most on feeding fans' opinions to make their products successful rather than their own intentions. It's simple--some portion of the world will appreciate it, others won't. But I guess that would suck the fun (and $$) out of everything, huh? ^^; It's sad having to scold Nomura for contradicting FANS' opinions though. :lol: I guess it's no big deal anyway.


The FFVII commercials rule! One of them made me laugh my ass off when I was surfing youtube. It was like, "If he succeeds, you survive. But if he fails ..... you can always press the RESET button." (something like that) HAHAHA. It was all totally serious and whatnot too. The narrator, lmao. ~*FOUND IT!: HERE

Well, one of the US commercials for Advent Children didn't directly point at any "love" aspect since it focused more on the action (plus it was 13 sec. long), but I think it hinted it nicely when they already spoiled the Cleris hand-reach scene. :blush: When I saw it on TV, omg I like nearly spit out my milk. Yes, I tend to overreact. x) Same for one of the Japanese commercials as well, at the end, tehe: AWESOME PSP / MARATHON THING :3.

Ooo...and thanks for the AC commercial clips. I'd forgotten about those. Of course, to the Clotis, they were simply showing Cloud and Aerith's extremely deep and everlasting "friendship". :rolleyes:

Well, I definitely remember seeing this thread about "love" thing on some board, I'll try to check it out sometimes...but since that "meeting her again" is erased by FF7 creators, I can suspect that even if that thread did exist, it's going to be an non-oficial one or being forcefully erased... :ermm:

It is like that SE has given the answer away, so maybe they excluded it. With or without that line, at least, we already have a hint from Square on what they are actually trying to imply to us fans. I guess, they removed that line so that it would be balanced to the CloTis and Clerises.

However, it is like that SE is trying to keep the two fandoms balanced, trying to hide the obvious, which already is no matter how much they try to. :lol:

I get what you're saying, Resha. Nomura stated that there are no unanswered questions in FFVII or AC. However there are no direct answers either, only subtle clues. You are supposed to be able to play the game a few times and/or watch the movie a few times and then be able to understand what they are trying to portray. I think it's pretty sad that some fans still don't get it... :whistle:
