:D Hi everyone ! I introduce myself. I'm a 18 years old girl and im a big fan of Final Fantasy ( actually, i'm a huge fan of xenosaga but FF is my first love lol ). I'm not fan of FF7 like others FF but this game have a good story and somes really good characters ( Aerith, Nanaki, Zack, Tifa, Vincent and Elena * she is funny * are my favorites... in the game, I like Cloud when he's a little bit emotionnal and Yuffie when she's not steeling my materia or my money and I hate Sephiroth, I really prefer Kuja or Kefka in the series or Albedo in XS * best villain ever * ).
I must apologize if my english is not perfect coz i'm french.

The reason I decided to join this forum is because I think you are absolutely right about the true couple of FF7. Beside, Aerith is a fascinating character but some fans hate her ( they think she's useless, ugly, an idiot, she just wants to take Cloud away from Tifa, she deserved to die bla bla bla... :ermm: ), . It's all right if we have different opinions but these fans are very mean sometimes and I think they don't want to listen at us about Aerith, even when we have strong arguments ( my little sister have a friend and this friend has a big sister, I lent her FF7 and finally, she hates Aerith and loves Tifa... she doesn't like Tina/Terra in FF6 either... and the worst is that her little sister hates Aerith too yet she never beat the first boss of FF7... pathetic :unsure: ... ). So I want to discuss about Aerith ( and Cloud ) with you.

Anyway, I'm happy to join, you seem all very sympathic and I hope you will understand me ( i'm not sure of myself, but I really hope my english is understandable ). :cleris: Forever !

As for FFVII, you're very right - it annoys me when people completely miss the point when it comes to Aeris, and fail to see all her depth. I've been a fan of hers (and FFVII of course) since I was about 12/13 and I still can't quite pin her sometimes...

Anyway, it's lovely to meet you and I hope you have lots of fun talking about Cloud, Aeris and their relationship with us. ^_^

I too have lots of friends who're into Tifa and hate Aerith for no reason, but I'm fine with it cuz it's all about likes/dislikes. Well, about Aeris, if my friend doesn't like her, that's fine. But she doesn't seem to understand entirely FF7 about its characters. A proof... she thinks Tifa isn't shy or dependant at all but it's the true nature of the character. That's why when we talk about FF7, I try to debate about some things we're not agree with. It's interesting to debate and discover new things but I cannot with her because I must say she's in a period of disagreement ( I used to be like that... all because of the adolescence :lol: ... it never were a funny part of my life, I think I was a "pain in the ass " lol... ) and I'm not myself an example of patience so...

My english is good ? I didn't sure about it, thanks again. I think it's always more delicate to write than read in another language... but I like to break the language barrier ( because we can speak with other people and I think it's a good thing ).

I love it too... and she's such a great character in FF9.
