It is from near the ending - they showed it in the trailers. Cloud realizes Zack is dead and lets out a scream. Just then, the camera flips to Aeris, looking up as if she hears him.

Oh yeah, I know, I had the same idea when I saw the CC trailer--sorry if I sounded like a biased fangirl or anything, by the way. ^^; It's just that this time Aerith looks up as if she sees something there, so I thought something else. I'm probably wrong though. Yeah, I feel it. :blush: ~anxious~

Edit: Yeah, I feel I'm totally wrong. Aerith had a shocked, sad face in the trailer, and she appears to be praying (after her "reaction" shown in the last CC trailer) as the opening goes on. Seems far from what I'd thought it would be. :P WOW do I feel retarded. XD Forget what I said before everyone! But still, I am extremely happy with the opening. ^_^

I hope that the video in which Sephiroth handles Angeal and Genesis appears at some point in the game, that part looks really good. It seems to be that this game also has a hand reach scene. XD

AHH I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER FOR THIS GAME !! but yea it brought back so many memories when the music started playing brought back the good old FF7 days and at the end when Zack's standing there with his sword and the music starts playing it just seemed so sad i dunno .. i think the game really is going to make alot od people cry besides completely awed...

The beginning of the opening is a lot like the one from FFVII, which brings a lot of memories ^^U. Watching it, I´m wondering more and more how will be a "sane" Sephiroth :P

As usual, this look great as expected from SE; good use of music to tied it together, the characters in AC-quality graphics, if only in FMV, and how they look. Especially like Aerith looking up and the beginning of the three-man duel.

I'm also curious at what it seems to be the Nibelheim fire, since I saw a silver apple on a branch and strangely not burnt.

It's not really a hand-reach scene like Cloud and Aerith's, where another hand is also reaching the other. I believe it's Cloud's hand "stretching out" after Zack... I think. It looks like it!

And about Aerith in prayer: I watched the full version of it, and she looks beautiful as ever. :o <3 That part was probably when she jerked her head up in the trailer--her instinct to pray and hope after she senses something dangerous/horrible...

I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS GAAAMEEE! :hyper: I forgot to mention this before but the music that plays during the opening is one of my faves from FFVII for some reason. x)

I wonder at which point of FFVII's time-line will CC end. Aerith appears wearing her original FFVII attire, and we know that CC must end in the same year in which the original FFVII started, since that's when Zack dies, but will it end with Zack's death, or a bit later?

Personally I don't think CC would end with Zack's death/Cloud's screaming scene, cuz that already showed in the trailer. And so far we know SE says it's gonna be a surprise ending for Cloud's fans, so I would surmise it be ended during the time he gets to know Avanlache~or even the famous "Do you like it? It's only a gill!"(Yeah...it's my Clerith hope :P )

^That's what I believe too. I think CC will end where it looks like FFVII starts, thus... the surprise for Cloud fans? :P I'm hoping so. And SE said the ending is supposed to be great... Hmm.

Well, if anything, they may try to portray Cloud and Aerith's connection somehow. In one of the trailers, they really made it seem as if Aerith sensed Cloud's pain over Zack's death. That scene may be completely different in the actual game. But the trailer, at least, gave a subtle ClAeris hint.

We'll have to see how the Nibelheim incident goes. I really expect them to stick to what they portrayed in the original game and Before Crisis. The only one to deviate from canon was Last Order, which was made by Madhouse, not S-E. S-E agreed to allow them to portray events in the way they did due to the interpretations of certain fans. However, S-E later portrayed the Nibelheim incident as it was in the original game with Before Crisis.

The music sounds awesome, graphics sound great.. My only worry is the voices, I really hope it'll sound good, and not ruin the game. =/ Seriously, sometimes I wish they could just add english subtitles and leave the original voices be. :P

Anyways, now you guys got me thinking about the ending...

ahh i know what you mean about the voices!! the Japanese voice actors nail it every time they suit the characters so well.. and the English voices ahh i cant stand it the whole of Dirge of Cerberus i remember thinking God i wish this was in Jap with subtitles i even looked for the option.. but alas it wasnt there but yea the voice acting here is really really good especaiily when Cloud screams near the end the amount of emotion in his voice is just wow
