Title: Time After Time

AugoraTheMateria - August 28, 2007 02:01 PM (GMT)
I've been listening to Quietdrive's cover of Cyndi Lauper's Time After Time. And after a thousand times listening to it, I found it very Clerisy (to me). Italics - Cloud Bold - Aerith

Quietdrive - Time After Time

Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick and think of you
Caught up in circles confusion is nothing new
You say go slow; I fall behind
The second hand unwinds

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you; I'll be waiting
Time after time

Time after time
Time after time

Sometimes you picture me I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me I can't hear just what you've said
You say go slow; I fall behind
The second hand unwinds

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you; I'll be waiting
Time after time

After my picture fades and darkness has turned to grey
Watching through windows, you're wondering if I'm ok
You say go slow; I fall behind
The drum beats out of time

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
(I'll always be waiting)
Time after time
Time after time
Time after time

I saw a video for this song on youtube but it was dj sammy's version.

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you; I'll be waiting
Time after time

:cleris: Aww those lines go so well

Whilst browsing a fan soundtrack for another couple, I found a wonderful duet version of this song, by Tara Morice and Mark Williams. I always get a tad disappointed whenever I find a Clerisy song that could be from both their POVs but is only sung by a man/woman. So I consider, where both are singing to each other, this one a sap-happy Clerisy find :) Enjoy:
