In advent children, remember when cloud and tifa are in the bed, that cloud is the first opening his eyes? i really thik that if he loved her he could have looked at her, brush the hear out of her face, you know...or just look at her as she was sleeping...but no. What he did instead? he aproached the window, looking outside at aeris angel statue...yes, he was thinking about aeris! he could have been with tifa but noo, what do you think? one more thing, all of you are sure that the statue of the angel is aeris, right?

i think he looked at tifa first...wait, that's the scene after the church one, right? yah. he looked at her first.
but at night, he was looking at the angel statue, instead. and from what I read somewhere in the forum, the angel "represents" aerith. someone correct me if i'm wrong.
but yeah. :) good point.

Good point.
Yeah, he did stand up and look at Tifa first, but it didn't seem like anything special to me. Like you said, he didn't brush any hair out of face or anything, he just sort of stood there until...I think Reno and Rude came in a few seconds later.
Him looking at the angel statue seemed a lot more more important, and I do believe he was thinking of Aerith at that moment, even if the statue didn't represent her directly.
Why didn't he sit down next to Tifa and hold her hand, or make some other sort of loving gesture until she woke up? It seems to me that if he was really worried about her, he would have at least asked her how she was once she woke up, which I don't believe he did.
It seemed like Cloud's mind was on something else....

 For me the statue is Aeris, because in the same place there is the statue of meteor, and just on top of it, the statue of the girl, like if she was praying, it was like she was taking care of all the people of he city, plus, marlene at the begining she said:
" Please, dont take him" ( refering to denzel, talking o the statue, and we know that marlene was able to feel her presence and talk to her).
Well, at first cloud opened his eyes and yes, he looked at tifa which is normal because she was just in front of him. And seconds later he turned around because reno and ruda had entered the room....we hen supose that they leave cloud and tifa alone, and cloud he choosed to look at the statue...and then he looked down, sad...
This parts remember me whn in the case of tifa, marlene said to tifa that cloud seemed to dont pay attention o her, because he would only stay at sky silently...i am sure he was thinking at her as well...
( sorry for me english, but i have been ll the summer without reading or writing in english and know it is very hard!))

Those are really good observations. It had never occured to me that Marlene might have been talking to Aerith in the beginning with the whole "Please don't take him," thing, but it makes a lot of sense.
And I felt the same thing as you did in Case of Tifa when Marlene said Cloud would often not pay attention to her and stare at the sky instead. It was obvious Aerith was always on his mind.
And don't worry, your English is fine!
