Hey guys! My friend just told me about this today so I thought I should share it with yall. I hope you've heard of Trinity Blood, a novel/manga/anime. The original artwork is by Thores Shibamoto, who happens to be Amano's apprentice. Yes, the Amano. Which makes sense seeing as how Trinity Blood's artwork looks a little like Amano's pieces. Anyway, back to the crux of the topic. My friend found out that this artist did some Final Fantasy pieces when she was under Amano, so this is about as close as we will ever get to unofficial official (fan)art!



Here is Thores Shibamoto's website. It's has some other FFVII pieces, including some Aerith artworks!

The Jenova pieces are also great. This reminds me of that black and white manga page of Seph, Aerith and Cloud-- all three looking sexily kickass. I love it when mangaka do fanart. :drool:

It's a black and white piece of Aerith and Cloud (or maybe it was Sephy) standing on one side, and the other guy standing on the other side. Between them was a box of text. And Aerith is, like, bending over slightly or something and lookin' totally smokin'.

Time to scour Seii's fanart albums for it. :superman:

Yeah! I was so happy when my friend told me! :fangirl: We had a Cleris fangirl moment! Plus I really do love Trinity Blood's artwork. To find out Thores worked under The Man himself is so awesome!

Eh, I'm not a huge fan of her style. The use of water colors is wonderful, and the one of Aeris sinking is GORGEOUS though!
