On my usual fan girl hunts for info on the new edition of Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War I discovered this nifty screen shot from the unreleased English edition.



So are you too lazy to look for a copy of the amazing original FFT? Do you have a PSP and a hefty wad of cash laying about? Then go pick up FFT: TLW when comes out if only for the new and improved cleris scene. With the factor of full voice acting I can't say whether or not this will be with voices. (Likely it'll be just speech bubbles but one can hope, right?) Much love to you!

I have tons of FFT stuff here. I am glad that they are redoing the game and so happy that they added new stuff. Maybe they will add to the Cloud and Aeris thing! Probably asking for too much but it would be cool to recurit Aeris. I love FFT. ^_^

NO PYRA! I hate FFTA so much and its little demon spawn will probably be just as bad! As to the "ser" I think that is to emphasize an accent.

Yeah and if there is voice acting in that scene I wonder what her VA will sound like. If she does have an accent I'm sure Aerith is gonna get a third VA.

They changed the translation for The Lion War. She was called Flower Girl in the original version of Final Fantasy Tactics. <_<

I think they changed it from Flower Girl to Flower Peddler for political correctness. I'm not totally sure, but that's the only explanation I can come up with.

Fireman --> Firefighter
Stewardess --> Flight Attendent
Policeman --> Law Enforcement Officer
Housewife --> Domestic Engineer (since there are now husbands who stay at home performing household chores while the wives commute to work)

And so on, and so forth...

No it was just a translation change up, not a political thing. She is a female flower seller so flower girl would fit. Peddler I think was emphasize on her petious situation. Besides, in the original japanese version of FFT she was called "Flower Seller".

Didn't they put "Flower girl" instead of "Flower seller" in the NA original FFT?
