Since I was thinking about all of the FFVII characters, Ive come up with some conclusions that made me consider Reno and Rude gay(I know this came out of no where)....and I think its so funny to me because most of the time, in the game, you would always see them together either plotting something evil, fighting against Cloud and the others, or even having a drink together at the restaurant in Wutai( :lol: how could I forget that)

I dont know about you guys but in AC, they were always together and if you think about it, Reno's voice is kinda light wouldnt ya say :giggle:....and I know Rude's was deep but some things still didnt seem right about them two

It's not as far left-field as you'd think. :wink: I don't support the couple, but I'm sure there are fangirls out there who think Reno and Rude are gay.

Personally, I don't think so. All their scenes together have always struck me as showing two very close friends hanging out, who also happen to work together. (With Elena later on tagging along, almost like the third wheel. :lol: )

If you want to see two guys MEANT to be presented as a couple, pick up yaoi/slash series such as... well, the only ones I can recommend are all kinda explicit... :hide: But Reno/Rude as a couple just seems like it's fan-created.

You could have a character that's shown to have massive orgies with dozens of women and you'll still find fangirls that say the character was secretly gay.

Reno and Rude are just old partners and good friends. Plus Rude likes Tifa.

I'm honestly kinda tired of how people can almost automatically think that if two people are awesome friends and they're open with each other, there is some kind of romantic feelings involved. It seems to happen like crazy among ze anime lovers. :mellow:

Not like there is a problem with liking a couple... It just shouldn't be assumed when there is no proof. D:

Not to mention that it seems like staying single in a game or anime is like THE ULTIMATE SIN or something.

It's very strange indeed. At times, some of the fanfiction I've read show almost everyone paired up in one way or another; if there's one character left, the author will probably just create an original character for it. Such fanfics like that generally show few single characters, very few indeed. <_<

Anyway, as for Reno & Rude, they strike me more as a close friends who happen to worked together, working closely and always drank together when possible. Their pairing is more fanon to me, from Rude liking Tifa to Reno being a pimp.

I don't feel surprise at this kind of surmise at all :P Actually, I found many fan sites praising RXR too. I even found fans supporting KadajXCloud too :blink:

Not at all, I say it's normal fan reaction, their imagination piecing together bits and pieces to see a better image, for the better, worse or weird.

It was Tseng that has a crush on Aerith. No one really knows which person Reno like (of course, that doesn't stop the ReTi fans).

I could have sworn Reno said he liked Elena, but maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me.

Reno and Rude are very close friends. That one AC scene when they have Rude's homemade bombs, did you see how they talked to each other? That's how close of a friendship they have. It's like they've been friends since childhood.

And everyone is right about Rude liking Tifa. Tseng likes Aerith and Elena likes Tseng. I looked it up on the game script on gamefaqs.com.
