I noticed in the screen of Aerith and Zack running, Zack blends in VERY well with the dark scenery but Aerith sticks out like a sore thumb. Was this intentional or am I just over analyzing things? :ermm:

I'm pretty sure it's intentional; remember that Aerith wears red/pink in FF7 and stood out quite a bit in the slums, after all. I personally think it shows that she didn't despair and stay optimistic, despite her surroundings and situation.

Seriously though, in terms of looks, Aerith appears quite compatible with Zack too (though she's way more compatible with Cloud in terms of personaltiy). She looks so gorgeous and lively. Heck, having two hawt guys falling for you definitely pwnz having NO hawt guys. :whistle:

Anyways, in all seriousness (not Internet-like seriousness, but real seriousness), I like Zack's personality. If I remember correctly, all we could assume about personality was based on his "We are friends, right?" line, what Cloud and Aerith mentioned about him, and the fact that both of them liked him (even in different ways). Basically, all we could conclude was that he was a good guy. I think that they way in which his personality has been developed for Crisis Core fits him well. He's a good, charming and energetic guy whose dream/ideal is to be a hero. Unlike Cloud, Zack joined SOLDIER to help people; he did not join it to gain fame.

Probably, after Crisis Core, we all may come to conclude that Cloud did not become like Sephiroth because of Zack. More than his (Zack's) relationship with Aerith, it is about his relationship with Cloud the one I am interested in (no double-meaning intended); how he influenced Cloud. We all know that Cloud admired Sephiroth - at one point, but it was Zack the one he ended up imitating, so I think that Zack may have had a high impact on Cloud, a lasting and important impression.

I agree with Clerith-son, more or less.

Fandom-wise, I imagine that Zack's the guy who help lighten up Cloud's mood whenever he get too serious. I can easily see a close bond between them while at Shinra.

Plus, I get the feeling that Zack is really one of his first ever friends Cloud has in his life. Heck, I wouldn't be surprise if Zack IS his first friend. (Some people might argue about Tifa, but the 'childhood friend' is a different situation.)

Anyway, I can't wait to see how Zack was really portrayed in CC; and preparing to either laugh or cry when some perceptions of him may or may not be shattered.

The only thing I don't really like about Zack is the last name they gave him. Zack Fair just doesn't sound right.

Who knows? Deep down inside he may also be the fairest of them all.

Yeah, what's the problem? Since it's in the past, that doesn't stop Aerith's changed feelings in MOTP. Seeing that it still mentioned that Aerith love Cloud more then Zack later, I see no problem.

I wouldn't worry about people, it's their choice to like Zeris/Zerith, as they still follow the rules.

Anyway, Aerith is still pretty as always. The colour contrast is really noticeable, especially when you place her and Zack near each other. I like the contrast, since it shows her optimism despite living in the Slums.

Personally, I really like Zack and Aerith together in the past. They would have an interesting mechanic together. Plus, I think he may have influenced her personality into the poke fun girl she is in VII. Zack was a good life experience for her and made her better equipped to handle Cloud. Zerith to help Clerith! :lol:

This is really fantastic. I was hoping for a CG image of her sometime soon. Is it just me, or are they actually working hard on making Zack look less like Cloud and more of an individual? That makes me happy!

I also dont mind the Zeris at all! It's cute! Plus it was the past, before Aerith and Cloud met each other. I actually think that Zack's influence helps to shape who Aerith and Cloud both become in the future.

What next, a special cameo apparance by a tapdancing Gast from beyond the grave? This game reeks of fan prostitution. :nono:

But, fangirlism be spooted, this game is actually beginning to appeal to me. Meh reasons:

1) Ugh, there is so much Aerith. Fully animated, peppy, happy, jokey Aerith- perhaps not the seasoned people person of VII we knew and loved ten years ago (God, the original game was such a happy medium for her character), but not quite the dramatically-less-charismatic AC Aerith that impends in her depressingly white-light-suspended little future. Hell, I don't know. This character redemption vibe might just be an illusion created by the present lack of Mena Suvari in CC, but I'm still pumped to see how Square portrays pre-Zack Aerith regardless. XD

2) The possibility of subtly implied, yet eternally present FACK vibes has me on a homgimustgetthisfrickingame trip. Last Order did NOT cut it with the exploration of some very important pre-Nibelheim-hell Fackts. We want the bridge scene. We want the orthopedic underwear scene (if Square includes that little detail, I will establish a church of spiritual illumination for all those who do not recognize their eternal greatness). And we want to know what the hell Zack and Tifa were talking about in that adorably unposed shot of them engaging in what I expect to be deep and meaningful flirting in LO. Their expressions are adorable, preAerith!Cloud looks jealous- it's all gravy. :woot:

3) Zack is one foxy piece of fanservice.

4) Sephiroth needs a character. Like, now. <_<

... if that scene where Aerith is hiding behind Zack happens anywhere NEAR his fall through the roof, and if the word "bodyguard" is even momentarily mentioned in the course of the game at any point in time, I will personally go to Japan and smite Nomura with an ice cream scooper.

1.The black block on the upper pic(left):

Hojo treats SOLDIER as mere convoy. For him, all human beings around him are lower orders.

2. The upper pic on the right:

*the blue line: "LOVELESS"is once again mentioned here.
The missing SOLDIER, Angeal once talked about LOVELESS. Now Hojo seems to read it before..Hojo studies this poem for he supposes that it'll benefit the research. Would it mean that there's some hidden meaning about this poem?

3.The pic on the buttom:

*the title: The man who sells his soul to science
Professor Hojo is the leader of scientific department of Shinra Co. He has a twisted mind and institutes several kinds of research. In FF7 games, he used to mastermind the science. This time, he'll tell us the unknown past. He keeps the same attitude: has no interests in others besides his research. You cannot feel anything human in him.

4.The "check" block:

*the title: Pro Hojo tracks in different pieces
After series of human experiments, Hojo successfullt created SOLDIER. It is he who made Sephiroth, but the consequence is miserable in FF7. It amuses me that, with every game that comes out, Aerith is shown wearing more and more white... :lol: In BC/KH2, Aerith's top was white and now, in CC, Aerith's dress is almost completely white. Plus, with that prayer stance, it looks like they are still pushing Aerith=angel/savior.

And who is Cloud's light again? Who represents light in the world of FFVII? :lol:
