I think Sqaure Enix DEFINITELTY need to make a Final Fantasy playable for xbox 360...and I'm not sure if they revolve around that kind of programing but ever since I played Final Fantasy VII and VIII for the first playstation, I never got the chance to play the newer one's for PS2 because I had no money at the time :( ...I'm a slacker I know, but now I'm hooked onto XBOX 360(who would'nt right :D ), so yes it would be very nice to see this happen :aeris:

I think that would be a huge mistake. I don't think there is anything special with that system at all and it seems the sales are proving that. Especially with all the problems it seems to have. That system has no incentive for anyone to buy it. Besides, FFXI is already out for Xbox.
PS3 is also failing, but a price drop should fix that. And I'm sure many people will spend the money to get one when FFXIII comes out.
Final Fantasy should either stay on PS or make games for the Wii (other than the new Crystal Chronicles game). The Wii is the most user friendly, cheap and fun system out right now. I don't see any reason for them to go to Xbox 360.
Anyone who wants to play the PS2 games can easily afford a PS2 now that it's very cheap.

S-E has already made Blue Dragon for the 360. I'm guessing it was to test the waters of an RPG made for an American system in Japan. And it seems that they actually sold alot of systems in Japan, but I doubt that an FF made for the 360 would sell more than one made for the PS3.

 Yeah but it just sucks that when FFVII first came out it was for Playstation only right, but I imagine many people who liked it really hoped them to produce more Final Fantasy for Xbox...I have an Xbox and Xbox360 and never had a problem with either of em, I love them both! :D
On the other hand, I'm not saying I have a problem with Playstation either but it stil would have been nice if they made the game for both systems...I think SE would have sold more copies realisticly -_-

You're thinking of a Japanese game going to an American system. Think about how many Japanese RPGs are on any American system compared to a Japanese system. Demand for RPGs are way higher in Japan than here in the US. RPGs sell the most over there, and shooters and action games sell more here.

I'd have to agree with Kaldea. FF is one S-E's most popular series. Factoring in that the 360 has never really produced much interest in Japan, releasing an FF (save FFXI, which is multiplatform anyway) on it is equivalent to shunning one of their largest fan bases.

Actually, Blue Dragon was developed by Mistwalker. They're completely unrelated to S-E.

*grabs the reins and pulls* Slow down! Like they said before me, Xbox a is highly US thing. The XBox wasn't a hit in Japan. Besides, porting it would get rid of the whole "exclusively for play station thing". The only reason FFXI was put on multiple platforms was that many many people could all play together and that factor doesn't apply to VII (If they make an MMO feature then do kill me). I think the only game they are developing for 360 is that game where you live for 1000 years (excuse me for forgetting the name). That game, while made by Final Fantasy's team, is unrelated to the series. Besides, I would attack Nojima and Nomura if they remade VII. Stop milking the series! PLEASE!
