This is one of my fave fanfics of all time. I found it not too long ago, it's awesome! I think it's one of the best written fanfics I've ever come across. I love the premise for the story. The plot is really sweet and heart-wrenching at the same time, and I could feel the clock ticking with each passing chapter. *wills Cloud to succeed* Now if only college students updated their fanfics. *whistles* Maybe if you guys flood her reviews she will, yeah? :D

Yeah I really really hope she updates during the Summer hols. I love this fic so much! If I had all the money in the world, I would buy over Square Enix and make a final sequel to FFVII just like this. I'm praying neither of them dies! :no: Where is this author?! If she doesn't update the fic I'll feel sooo unsatisfied! :sad: I wouldn't even mind if someone became her ghost writer or something.

lol yeah it's annoying when you get to a good part of the story and it suddenly stops. The author gets busy with school/work/friends etc and cant update anymore or as regulary.

Nesza's a girl. And she hasn't updated her LiveJournal in seven weeks (she's friended on my old writing account), so I suppose she just has more important things to do. I know she's at uni at the mo.

Yes PLEASE ask her to finish it or update it please, I just spent 4 hours reading this fic from the beggining it needs another update, great fic great amount of romance and fluff and accurate storyline and in perfect order to! As I like to say on other boards cough4chancough MOAR.

hi everyone! i'm a newbie in this forum but i've been a fan of cloud and aeris ever since i came across ff7.

I'm sorry for not updating Clock. School work has been nasty, especially because my thesis is killing me. I've been trying to write the next chapter for a while, but I can't seem to be able to write it properly. I'm playing ff7 again to get a feel of the story again and to get ideas. Maybe I can post the next chapter in a couple of weeks.

Thanks guys for reading Clock, and I'm really very sorry for not being able to update for the longest time.

Thanks for the support, everyone! I am not sure yet how it will end. I have the outline of the next few chapters already and chapter 7 is already one-third done. I might be able to finish it as soon as I finish disc 1 again. (I haven't finished ff7 ever...because I don't like playing disc 2 and 3 coz Aeris is no longer there. =C )

Exceptional. It is a real pleasure to read, even if it is somewhat... sad. Your writing style is very impressive. Usually first person perspective like that is very difficult to do.. but you do it with practiced ease.

Thanks illwaitforever1 and TheMachine! I considered writing a happy chapter before new year but I realized it just wouldn't fit into the story. Hehe, first person perspective is killing me. there are times when I just want to write the story in 3rd person right in the middle of the chapter.

only a couple more chapters and Clock's done! yey! After several months of almost abandoning the fic...the end is coming near. whee!

yeah, it started really fluffy...and I'm not sure at which point in time did I suddenly decide to make it a sad, emo one. I'm calling the plot bunnies for a conference and I'll think the ending over. No promises of keeping hearts intact here, though.

Hehe, my sister always tells me I'm always being too hard on Cloud and that it has become my pastime to torture him. I can't really deny that but I've been so kind to Cloud at the start of the fic, that has got to count for something. And Cloud is just so...available for torture. :devil:

no, but seriously, I think that the Cleris love story being a really difficult and always-faced-with-odds one is one of the main points of ff7. and Cloud really being in strife is another aspect of it. Well, Cloud deserves a break from time to time, so maybe I'd write a Cloud-friendly fic one of these days.

Do you own a Zack or a Cloud?! I'd happily be your slave if you'd hand over those beautiful squee-worthy men!

Aww, that's why we should give Cloud a break and let him be happy, if only in fanfics. XD I know I'm mighty guilty of tormenting Cloud and part of the reason why I never completed my multi-chap fic is that I couldn't bear giving Cloud a sad ending. XDDD It was writing itself to be either a crazy Cloud or a depressed Cloud ending and I chose neither and put it on permanent hiatus. :lol: P.S. If you put Clock on permanent hiatus I'll turn into crazy/depressed Clorith, ya hear? :lol:
