Description: Aeris and Cloud once again in a new game
Daga15 - June 29, 2007 12:28 PM (GMT)
Hi, i was looking information of itadaki street and suddlenly i read this:
Itadaki Street
Aerith also appears as a playable character in Itadaki Street Special and the upcoming Itadaki Street Portable, along with several other characters from Final Fantasy VII, including Tifa, Cloud, and Sephiroth.
And then this:
Growlanser 3
Aerith also appears in this game as the "flower girl" looking for a blond guy with spiky hair carrying a huge sword. It was confirmed by the creators of the game that it was meant as an additional fun event for experienced RPG players.
What is Growlanser? it is a new game? did you know that aeris appeared in it? it is like kingdom hearts? please answer.

It's your average anime style tactical RPG. I see you've been reading Wikipedia. Aerith's part is pretty much the same as say...her role in FFIX. She just stands there. But yes it is indeed cute how she is looking for Cloud. :)

Aerith and Cloud make a cameo as "Flower Girl" and "Soldier 7". If you return to Alexandria after it is destroyed you can find them by the docks talking. When you speak to her she says "He isn't much for conversation but..." Her role in Growlanser is similar in that she is just some flower girl standing around. It isn't quite as deep as even her Tactics cameo.

There were a lot more cameo's...we had a thread somewhere here on the forums for them...I'll browse around a bit and edit the post with the link.

I don't know if you had once play Xenogears. In this marvelous RPG, we can see a poster of Tifa. But I also noticed something about Aeris... in a city there is several female NPC who looks like Aeris, with brown hair, the same hair style with the ribbon and a dress ( the colors of the dress and the ribbon can differ but these NPC are certainly a reference to Aeris ). And in FF7, when Cloud is sick he mumbles parts of the theme song of Xenogears. There is any big reference to the love triangle but the fact is Cloud, Tifa and Aeris have a little link with Xenogears ( a very little link ). It's funny...

Aerith being present in those games makes me want to play them more. Unfortunately I still haven't gotten my hands on Growlanser.
The fact that Cloud and Aerith is in it like in FF9 added to my excitement about the game. I mean, just to see them is enough to make me smile. (and I know that's geeky, but yeah, that's how I am. haha)

Do you know what console it is on?

From what I know, Growlanser is on PS2.
Though, I'd be lucky to even see its PAL release, sounds interesting.

PS2, eh? Good thing. I'm a bit next-gen deficient at the moment. But I guess now next-gen would be current-gen, wouldn't it?

Haha yeah, or "new gen" systems. I only have a PS2 at the moment as well and I'm hella broke to aim for that PS3.
I didn't know about the FFIX or Growlanser cameos. Wish someone could take screenshots of themf or us! *hint hint* xD

The only FFIX cameo I knew of was the one where Zidane sees the Buster Sword in a shop. I always thought it was deliciously amusing.
