Yup, after so many years of false rumours, newspaper print outs, long awaited promises, the Spice Girls are back all five of them.
The girls have reunited for a "Farewell World Tour" to give fans want they really, really want. Today was the first time all five of them were pictured together since Geri Halliwell aka Ginger Spice left in 1998.
Frankly, I'm excited as hell. I loved the Spice Girls as a kid, and I still love them now! I immediately registered myself on their website for a chance to get tickets to their London concert. I'll do anything to see them live, for one last time :)

Awe, I read that on Yahoo! this morning. I remember the spice girls. When I was small, I basicly worshipped Sporty Spice. It's odd... what do they hope to achieve? Are they hoping it will be "camp" appeal, reformat their music, or appeal to young girls of this generation?

I generally think the concert is for the fans, but also to appeal to a new generation. This is just a one off thing, not a complete reunion. I can't say that the money is a helping hand in this but I do really think they want to thank the fans for giving them what they achieved.
