Ever since I was a little kid, I listened to different kinds of music that originated in the States - rock n' roll, soul, jazz, and Hollywood film scores. I especially loved pop music, and every week I remember looking forward to Billboard's top charts. Now it's my turn to give back. Through this concert, I hope that I can show you the result of my many American influences.
Music is such a wonderful, universal thing. Whether you're from the States or not, you laugh and cry to the same tunes and melodies. The appreciation of music is not limited or defined by what country you are from, what race you are, or what language you speak. Music makes everyone equal - fame, social standings, material possessions, age, and gender do not matter.
I am blessed to have such a wonderful job - Nobuo UematsuPage 2 -
List of songs in concert. If you wish to know what was played just ask me other wise I will omit this.

In This Concert: New Medley from FINAL FANTASY VII ADVENT CHILDRENThe next pages are credits. I will omit this unless someone requests I type it. I hope you like these. Oh, and the pages also list release dates so just ask and I'll type those too. Also, does any one else notice the emphasis on Aerith? She's the only character whose image is on the information page plus they performed her theme. So WHO is the heroine of FFVII?

Page 24 isn't the AC one, I can't find it accutally.
But otherwise, whoa. How long was the concert?
Edit: Oh, never mind, it's page 26.
MistaCloudStrife - June 23, 2007 09:51 PM (GMT)
26 is the AC one.
And thank you. (Actually I feel more jealousy thank thankfulness) >_>
NekoDono - June 23, 2007 09:53 PM (GMT)
Sorry about the number screw up. My hands and back were hurting from all the typing. You're welcome though. :) I changed AC and XII's page numbers and added the accidently forgotten passage on Final Fantasy XI. The concert was like 2 hours or so long. ^_^
Here's a
photo with the poster in it.

I went to Dear Friends in Detroit as well. I didnt even think to post scans of the book here...probably because it's put safely away.....somewhere....
Wasn't it funny though? The Medley for AC wasn't a Medley at all... It was just "Cloud Smiles" which was what they told us in the concert.
NekoDono - June 24, 2007 04:18 PM (GMT)
Yeah, plus everyone knew what the special bonus song at the end was. *cough*Sephiroth's Theme*cough*
illwaitforever1 - June 24, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
Dum dum dum dum....
It sounds really cool, I hope to go to something Final Fantasy related soon.
NekoDono - June 24, 2007 05:17 PM (GMT)
Sorry to say Dear Friends is done. They had a second concert in L.A., More Friends, but that's it. Total downer, no? That's why I own the guide book, poster, and the CD (20020220: Music From Final Fantasy). 20020220 is basicly the Dear Friends show on CD, complete with crowd cheers at the end of each piece. And I think the CD name is in relation to a date (Feb 20, 2002 ?).
Anti-R - June 26, 2007 11:52 AM (GMT)
Wow, this is interesting. :D It's good to know Aerith's Theme is featured.
Thanks for putting it up, NekoDono!
