We see that cloud cares for aeris, he si saying that she in not alone because he is with her...so sweet....

Then, lets go to the end of the second disk.
Tifa is with cloud. The others are gone.


Cloud
"What are you going to do, Tifa?"

(She turns to him)

Tifa
"Did you forget?"
"I'm... all alone. I don't have anywhere to go."

(The scene fades out, then in to show Cloud and Tifa on a grassy hill.
Tifa stands close to the camera, looking past the player. Cloud is behind
her, staring in another direction. The Highwind hovers above. The only
sound is that of the wind.)

Tifa
"Everyone's gone..."

Cloud
"Yeah, we don't have anywhere or anyone to go home to."

(She looks down.)



so...cloud could have said: - tifa, i am were for you...
or:
we have each other..
but no!!

Yes cloud has never said to Tifa I'm here for you, but he has said that to Aeris, so it means that he DOES care for Aeris and that he loves her.

Hmm, very interesting... These situations are definitely similar. I think what Cloud ultimately meant, though, is that they don't have any family or anything to go to themselves, as in Cloud's family/parents/etc. and Tifa's family/parents/etc. But still, Cloud could've shown the same concerns towards Tifa in that situation like he did for Aerith, but he chose not to. Very interesting...

Well, Tifa is saying there are there for him but, cloud seems to not to care....it remind me when cloud asked aeris:

in this case, is tifa who ask:

Aeris answered:

and cloud in this case answers:

Maybe that just isn't enough."

Tifa reacts with:

"Even we aren't enough for you?"

and cloud reacted at aeris answr with:

so we cant help?

Aeris answer was:

cloud answer was:

you see? it is similar....cloud cared for aeris but she felt alone....tifa cares for cloud but fe feels alone...

I always thought that the fact Cloud had a dubious look on his face when Tifa asked him "Do you love me" said it all. Why would he wake up with a dubious face? He probably heard her but didnt answer but being the guy he is didnt want to be awkward(he's a really sweet guy really) so he answered the Marlene question.
But then you can see his agitation with his constant "..." responses.
I dont know what CloTis mean when they say Case of Tifa proves Cloud and Tifa are now together.
I personally dont see it... <_<

:D You made a great comparison! I was really touched by that particular scene in Cosmo Canyon, I really can't forget it. Isn't it a very good evidence of Cloud's feelings towards Aerith. I can't understand why there's so much debate about it while it's so obvious to Cloud who he really love. Well I really your explanation did it, it showed a great proof.

that's a very good proof. :D the way tifa asks cloud was almost the exact same way cloud asked aeris about the "alone" stuff.

the way tifa feels for Cloud would mean that it is the same as how Cloud feels for Aerith. :D
