In advance of its big May game party, Square Enix has unveiled two new projects in the pages of Weekly Jump -- or, at least, two new spins on older projects.
The first game revealed was Final Fantasy XII International: Zodiac Job System. Like prior games such as Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, Final Fantasy XII will be getting rereleased in Japan with the addition of the English voice acting and, possibly, English text as an option. Additional content changes are being included in the form of a new job system allowing characters access to different, unique license boards.
The second unveiling was Final Fantasy IV DS, a full 3D remake of the fourth game in the long-running series. Unlike the slightly upgraded port delivered in the form of Final Fantasy IV Advance, this new version follows in the footsteps of Final Fantasy III DS in featuring new polygonal character models, full 3D backgrounds, and new story elements. |
I'd love FFXII International. But I definately wanna see a fully remade FFIV. FFIII was so awesome. :fangirl:

FFIV DSFFXII: International
Ahhhh, the FF IV DS scans are adorable! Lookie, 3D, semi-chibi Cecil! And is that...Rosa with pink hair?
I really like the art for the FFXII International scan. Sweet...
NOOOOO CECIL! Why chibi?? Why??? That's just sad... I never imagined FFIV like that in 3D... Should have made it more like the FMV version from the PSone. If they ever do FFVI like that on the DS I'll be pissed.

I would normally agree with you, but after playing FFIII I have absolute faith in Square. FFIII was amazingly fun. Normally RPGs make me fall asleep in boredom from the whole RPG battle system. I know many people who are more than happy with the news. ^_^
Well I'm not doubting it won't be as fun as the original FFIV(or II).. It's just now I'm getting the impression(more like i'm pretty much sure) that the FFs for Nintendo are going to be Chibi'ed out and the Sony(And maybe Microsoft) FFs are going to be more realistic. And of course the way I am, I would prefer the realistic ones. Still need to play FFIII too... -_- And I havent bought FFVI for GBA either yet. >.<
And OMG I love your new sig... T_T Would you like to provide me a link to that stock? =)
