A girly topic if ever there was one... :P

Anyway, out of all the Final Fantasy characters in all the games, whose outfit do you like the best (in terms of looking good on the character and just being a cool outfit)?

Girls:
Of the girls I'm definitely going to go with Terra! I love her outfit so much. The design, the colour, the sleeves, the shoulder-plates...and she looks lovely in it!

Guys:
Hmm...much tougher because I can't really squeal "SO PRETTY I WANT IT" with their outfits. I think I'd have to go with either Kefka's (I love the bizarre, crazy eccentricity of it) or Cloud/Zack's number, which I like very much as well, for the opposite reason. I like the simplicity and practicality of it. And it looks very cool to me, for some reason.

Also, good mention to everyone in FFIX! They all dress great! Thongs and everything! :P

C'mon, join in! Let everyone know which outfits are PRETTYYYYY. ^_^

I would guess it would be Rinoa's, Yuna's (X) and Lenne's for 'looking good'. But I would definitely go for any of the AC costumes for being a 'cool outfit'.

Guys:
KUJA!!!! :lol: I'm j/k, but I would guess that Laguna had my favorite 'guy' outfit. Not quite sure why....^^;;;;

Ooh, I was tempted to mention Rinoa as a runner-up! I love her outfit as well. Tifa's new clothes from AC look great too.

I like Laguna's outfit as well, for some reason. It's got this normal-ness about it, but it still suits him very well. ^_^

Hyper-Ballad, do you know where I can find a Terra picture? I haven't seen it, and I'm interested to know why you guys like it. :)

For me... I think the favorite outfit would have to be...

GIRLS>>> Tifa's in Advent Children. Reeeeeally cool, but reminds me strongly of Rinoa. Second place will have to be default Yuna in FFX-2. A bit too showy, though.

GUYS>>> Tidus. :D I really like that uniform of his... very blitzball-y. *droolz* Or maybe Zidane's...? I think he looks cute in it...

Hm.... I'd have to go with Yuna's in FFX. ^_^ It's cute and suits her character very well.

Guys: From experience, I can say that designing clothes for guys is very hard, so the more eccentric it is the better. So my answer? Kuja. ;) His costume isn't anything like I've ever seen before. I like the design, but what impressed me more is the fact that Kuja can carry it very well.

(Unlike Seymour....... *shivers*)

I'd have to say that i like Aerith's dress in KH,and i hate the color pink. o.0

My opinion here is a bit biased,as i am a Zidane fangirl. ^^; I really do think he had the best outfit of the guys,since it made him so cute.
Second runner up is Cloud, that turtle neck looks comfy.

Girls
1) Aeris's KH outfit- It's very girly and cute, and it suits her personality well.
2) Rinoa- It's cute and I love it. I especially like the colors-black and blue- together.
3) Yuna's X outfit- I love it because it reminds me of a kimono and I love kimonos. They're so pretty!
4) Garnet's princess outfit- it's so pretty!

Guys
1) Cloud's AC outfit- it's better than his purple SOLDIER outfit and it's cool.
2) Cloud's KH outfit- mmm so dark and mysterious...
3) Squall- It looks really cool.
4) Vincent- Gotta love the golden claw and red torn cape.

I think Yuna's FFX clothes are my favorite. I also love Rinoa's clothes and Aerith's (I like Aerith's clothes in both FFVII and KH).

Hmmm... Cloud's AC clothes are my favorite, I think, although I like his clothes in FFVII and KH, too. Squall, Vincent, and Sephiroth are some of my favorites, too. :rolleyes:

I really can't stand Tifa's clothes in AC. I think her outfit is really ugly. Am I the only one who thinks so? :unsure:

No you're not. I don't like it either, it's like she's trying to copy off Cloud's new clothing style,only to fail >_<

Girls: Tifa Lockheart in Advent Children. It's more conservative. I've tried wearing it, it's okay for cosplay... but honestly, I don't like the design. It's so... gloomy.

Also Quistis Trepe's SEED uniform and her pink/peach/whatever that color is fighting attire... because it looks sexy yet professional at the same time. :P

Aerith... the only girl-in-pink that I love. ^_^'

And of course, would I forget the Turks? Female Turk, that is. But the black one, just like in Before Crisis...

Guys: Rufus ShinRa. I've cosplayed as this guy... but made sure that the place is air-conditioned. It can really activate your sweatglands if you're not in an airconditioned place. :lol:

Yazoo... because it's zipped all the way up to his neck (for the sake of the idea that if I cosplay it, I wouldn't want to show cleavage just like Loz's :lol: )

Vincent Valentine: I love red and black together, need I say more?! XD

1) Aeris (KH) - I really like Aeris's KH outfit. It looks refreshing and she looks extra pretty without that jacket.
2) Yuna (FFX) - Very nice, traditional Japanese-style dress.
3) Terra (FFVI) - It looks lovely when you see them in Amano's artworks and in the FMVs in the PS version.
4) Rydia (FFIV) - Lovely!! She looks like a fairy in all that green than a summoner.

GUYS:
This one is a bit tough...
1) Squall (KH) - He looks better in it than his FFVIII one IMO. Plus, no more fur on jacket :P.
2) Cloud (AC) - Men in black look good. Plus the wolf insignia on his clothes suit his "lone wolf" persona.
3) Cecil, paladin form (FFIV) - Gotta love the armor. Classic hero.
4) Auron (FFX) - He's just too cool-looking... Gotta love the shades.

Garnet- One of my favorite outfits is her princess dress. (FFIX)

Dagger- One of my favorite outfits is her outfit when she joins your party. (FFIX)

Terra- One of the coolest outfits. (FFVI)

Aeris- I like pink. (FFVII)

Aerith- Great in every series. (FFVII)


Boys

Squall- Oh so sexy. (FFVIII)

Cloud- I dig the uniform. (FFVII)

Terra - I like how it's almost both a uniform and something stylish.

I'd have to go with Yuna's FFX outfit. I really like the skirt - the pattern is pretty, and the kimono style sleeves. I also liked the white dress Rinoa wore at the dance, it was simple and elegant, nothing too fussy but looked great.

Guys

I liked Sephiroth's black trenchcoat and leather trousers, only he could carry something like that off and not look like an aging rocker/goth boy trying too hard/faintly ridiculous. Maybe it's down to the silver hair.

For the girls: - Aerith: it's simple yet nice
Yuna (in FFX) : it looks comfortable ( and not too revealing :P)
Garnet (in princess dress) : It's very pretty and I like the design.
Rinoa's blue outfit : it's very light and sturdy. Other than that it doesn't disturb any movements especially when running.

For guys:- Cloud : it looks cool ( I like military clothes :P)
Squall : gives the dashing look
Sora (KH & KH2) : suits his character and has unique style.

This is a tough one and I'm sure you all know why, there are simply too many you could choose. Now obviously I will say Aerith as what she wore was just lovely, but for the sake of being bit original I will pick someone else as well.
Lulu, she has that dark goth style that is still very feminine. And that dress she is wearing is so full of details that I just can not help but to love it. Then again what Edea was wearing in FFVIII is not that far from Lulu's dress...

Boys

Ah and oh, while not as tough as choosing between all the girls, still extremely difficult. What Cloud is wearin in AC is extremely good looking, but there are also many others. I actually liked Tidus' clothes in FFX as they were so refreshingly colourful and different from Cloud and Squall for example.

Girls : Yuna from FFX - I love her everything in FFX actually, clothes, hair, make-up (or the lack of it) and all ^_^

Boys: Cloud in AC - yes amazing costume and Kadaj in AC- i just love the tight leather coat on Kadaj :wub:

I haven't played FFX-2 yet so I can't really use those.

For female, I'd have to say Lulu. It's so original having those belts and she pulls it off well, otherwise it could've looked weird and too much.

For male, Auron. It's bold and mature, but with the sunglasses it gives him a sexy mysterious vibe.

For favorite bad guy outfit, it would be Sephiroth. It's just so right for him.

How about adding any outfits you hated as well? For me, I didn't really care for Irvine's outfit, it just didn't look right to me.

GIRLS:

Quistis - The outfit colour suits her hair, and she looks dominating, independant and professional. In fact, I think she's the only FF female that actually looks like a Westerner.

Yuna's wedding dress - Don't ask me why; it just looks magical.

Yuna's kimono - I like how it is really original and cool at the same time. It's fun drawing it, as well.

Elena - I love her Turks outfit. Then again, I had always liked suits, so..


GUYS:

Cloud AC - There's just something about the assymetrical sleeve... and the fact that it's black. *droool*

In my opinion all the guys in FFVIII has cools outfits (even Raijin)

And all the guys in FFX/FFX-2 has...er, weird costumes (except Auron)

Girls:
-Rinoa's in the first place, love that blue jacket and sleeves...DAMN I NEED THAT OUTFIT!!!!
-Yuna's outfits (ALL of them) are cool, specially the songstress one. Oh a thousand words...

Boys:
-Cloud in AC is too freakin hot to ignore *drools* *goes get bucket* *drools more*
-Squall and all that flurry stuff!! Too sexy!!! *faints*

I really hate Kuja's outfit and, forgive me but...I hate Zidane's clothes. *dodges flying objects*

GIRLS

Rikku (FFX) -- It's so spunky-looking and definitely something I would wear casually if people wouldn't look at me go, "O_o ???"

Terra (FFVI) -- It just looks so elegant and noble.

Paine (FFX-2) -- This outfit just kicks major assage. I adore it.

The Dark Gunner dressphere and the Songstress dressphere (MINUS Paine's outfit -- ugh). I like Yuna's default outfit in FFX too, and Rinoa's in VIII, but they're so overdone at conventions (and more often than not, not done well). They've become tiresome to look at unfortunatley.

Ashe's ceremony dress, I swear, it's going to be the dress that will make people cry. It looks gorgeous from what I've seen of it.

And I honestly like Garnet's default outfit. There's just something about it that makes it LOOK good.

KUJA! Hahaha, partially because he can pull it off. Additionally, I really like Irvine's and Seifer's outfits (they're nice and simple).

Overall? I think FFVIII had the best outfits, with FFX-2 as a close second.

Yuffie: In AC, though... she looks nice in black ^^
Quistis: VIII. I really like her default clothes, her high boots are classy, along with the hair and the whip, it was a joy using her in the battle.

Nope, Irvine's technically not a SeeD either. He was reluctant to use GFs, its why he still he remembered their childhood pasts.

Anyone notice that in every FF, the style/clothing of the characters are different?

Like in FFVII, it was very simple and gloomy -- maybe it matched the atmosphere of Midgar. In FFVIII it was very professional-like, quite modern as well (because FFVIII had modern elements like spaceships, TV stations and stuff).

In FFIX, it had a more medieval look and in FFX there was a lot of Japanese influences. Kimono (Yuna), samurai garb (Auron) and Lulu's hairstyle.

Personally, I like FFVIII's style the most. FFX-2 (the girls' clothes) comes in second. :D
