Ok i was thinking about this all day in work.

Its just alot of Cloti's :never: say that Aerith didn't love Cloud because she loved Zack and he was her first love Blah Blah BLAH!

well when you think about it Tifa and Cloud didn't see each other for what 7 years? so i mean if someone was really as attractive as Tifa :tifa: (yeah she super pretty) then wouldn't she have had a Boyfriend in that time? i mean wouldn't she have had a first love too so maybe if Aerith couldn't aparently get over Zack then why would Tifa be able too if she had someone hmmm....??????

so basically in my mind i think Tifa really only started to like Cloud because he was just there and he liked her (well when they were younger he obviously had a loser Crush). I mean if she really loved him and didn't have a first love you would at least think she would have had the Courtesy and Respect to tell him all about himself you know?

Doesn't matter what the Clotis say. They can keep parroting their stupid assumptions all they want. Aerith tells us herself that she likes Cloud more than Zack.

For some reason, it wasn't apparent to me that he'd had romantic feelings for her. I mean, I thought it was clear he admired her...but a crush? I personally don't think so. If Cloud wanting to hang with Tifa means that he'd had a crush on her...well, that's pretty much saying all the adults and other kids in town all had crushes on her as well since they all liked her and/or hung with her. I find that a bit odd. It was made clear to me Johnny had a crush on Tifa...but Cloud? What was shown during the lifestream sequence isn't enough to say he did.

Initially, the idea that he was going to go join SOLDIER brought him to her attention...but IMO, Tifa didn't start to actually have feelings for Cloud until he joined up with Avalanche. That was about at the same time when Cloud and Aerith met up. Honestly, I don't think it's important whether Tifa went through a first crush or not.

Let me guess...the blah blah blah part is "Aerith is dead", am I right, xx-Forever-Aerith-xx? XD

Blah #1: 'She doesn't know Cloud'

Blah #2: 'She's dead'

Anyway, first love...when Tifa start to like Cloud romantically is debateable, though the thing is...

Aerith arrive at scene. Honestly asked about their relationship. Spend time with Cloud. Tifa didn't stop her.

If Cloud is her boyfriend in the first place, she would at least tell Aerith that, but she didn't because he's not.

Forget about what Cloti's say they think like this" So she is dead you have to move on man!!" and as I said in another thread Tifa wants Cloud as a whim not true love. And cloud's love for Aeris will last forever, even if she's dead he'll still love her

Marriage vows may say something along the lines 'Until death do you part?', but true love last a lifetime. Right?

Just forget about what the CloTi's say. I need to see proof of Cloud and Tifa before I even go on that side.

I always had the feeling that Johnny from the start of the game was kinda sorta Tifa's old boyfriend, or at least that they dated for a bit.

You know, Johnny is one of those characters that just really gets overlooked in the fandom. Nobody every pays any attention to the poor guy.

CloTis always try to talk me out of my Cleris fandom, and it simply annoys me, the most annoying argument ever is that Cloud only acted nice towards Aerith because he WAS Zack at that time. <---This is dumb, and wrong.

He carried his memories but that doesn't mean he fully transformed into Zack or something.

Of course, if Tifa had a first love is never shown in the game, there's a possibility though.But since it doesn't appear in that game Cloti's don't think of the possibility I guess.

Its clearly stated in the MoTP that Zack is just Aerith's dear friend (isn't that hard to comprehend? I mean, really). I don't know if the CloTi read the real MoTP or CloTi version of MoTP.

yeah..i really so irritated to some of the Clotis fan who argued that Aerith loves Zack,Cloud true loves are Tifa,etc..etc..etc...im so mad when they argued that Claerith fans is so obbsessive to pair Cloud and Aerith together that actually Cloud is meant for Tifa.. YUCK.. :no: no way,

gee, i hope some of the Clotis fan should just accept the facts that Clorith are meant for each other...they just didn't want to believe that Clorith's evidence about who Cloud realli loves is pure true.

Exactly. Saying no in the game is also a choice. Cloti's make it seem as though you have to say yes; oh, so then it must be a Cloti moment.

Is is also true that you have a choice between being nice to tifa or not, but you cant have a choice between being mean to aerith? ( without someone or something saying otherwise? ) I just need to clear this up because im telling some of my friends about clorith xD

The default character for the Gold Saucer date is Aerith. The lowest her affection score can be is 24, while Tifa's can drop all the way to zero. :shifty: So, if you don't really try to get the date with one of the other characters, you automatically go on the date with Aerith. Even if the scores between Aerith and Tifa are equal, you still go on the date with Aerith. This means that the official date is with Aerith. All the rest are merely for amusement. :whistle:

I thought Aeris was the default date because she was the one who kept bringing it up and stuff. So I thought they were trying to make it really cute or something. x'D I think the dates were optional for a reason, though. I think Nomura wanted to make the point that every one loves Cloud, lmao. Maybe even Barret. :lmao:

But, yeah, Kaleta. You can be pretty bitter towards Aeris too. However, even if you are rude to her, Aeris and Cloud still have their must see scenes, which prove that Cloud cares about her no matter what choice you chose earlier on.

Like, my friend really dislikes Aeris, and made Cloud be rude to her. So she was angry that Cloud was still sad when she died, lol.

While you may not be able to get Aeriths affections to drop to zero..there is an option in the game to make Tifa's rise to the maximum...

So I dont think that matters. Aerith has the highest because she is the default because she asked him..It would be weird if Aerith asked him out and you like that idea then for some reason you get Tifa or Yuffie as a date.

Date mechanics dont really show any sort of affection because they are all optional and speak very little of the personality.

Its pretty obvious what Cloud would say to.
He isnt a ladies man, but he isnt a total ass.

He probably (In the Canon world of FF7) went on the date with Aerith.
Since her asking him out is somewhat of an important plot theme with both characters...

And was probably nice to all characters...except maybe Barret, kinda teased him alittle. lol.

And its strange how very extremely rude you can be to Aerith, saying things like she doesnt mean anything to him, calling her a drunk, and saying he doesnt like spending time with her, on the date..

So its all option...FF7 is a game thats meant to reflect alittle bit of yourself as well, you grow attatched to characters, you dislike them, you cry when they die, you laugh when they laugh.

Its an RPG..Date mechanics cant be used as a LTD problem solver.

Not to mention that, when your dress Cloud up as a girl and go to rescue Tifa. Tifa say's that she is Cloud's friend, NOTHING MORE. :whistle:

You have to remember that Tifa likes to keep her feelings hidden, and that she is a very considerate person. She probably assumed from right then that Aeris had a crush on Cloud, and she didn't want to make her feel uncomfortable around her. ^^;

Also keep in mind that Aerith's date seems to be the only one S-E takes into consideration in regards to the storyline. Clorith owns the official FF Art Collection cards. Some quotes of interest from these cards:

From Aerith's profile: "No, Cloud... I'm searching for you..." (First and last date)

A card that speaks of the Gold Saucer: "A promised date that ends in a magical night."

And so it appears that Aerith's date with Cloud is the only one being considered official here. Tifa's date with Cloud wasn't any more important than Cloud's date with Yuffie or Barret.

Also, keep in mind that this is merely a game to increase replay value and nothing more. The entire thing was meant as a joke to parody Japanese dating sim games. So, how can you possibly take it seriously (especially when one of the characters Cloud could date was Barret)? The only date that occurred, as far as S-E is concerned, is the date between Cloud and Aerith. The rest are all irrelevant.

I've heard alot about these cards, but i havent seen any pictures of them D;
