Has anybody been to Gaia Online? It's a fun site that has a HUGE forum with tons of members and everything (I pity the mods there). They also have this nifty avatar system where you can accumulate gold to buy your avatar clothes, items, and such. There's also a Gaia Avatar Creator to help you plan out what you want to buy for your avatar here though, not all the items that Gaia has are in there, it's still something worth looking into. ((Though there are some negative stuff about that place... but I'm too lazy to talk about that. ))

Have you tried voting on polls once, and then posting twice and coming back to vote again? Voting gets you like, 10 gold and if you repeat that pattern for an hour you should be able to earn a couple hundred. Getting 1g while you lurk is just a plus. I just can't seem to make money fast enough to get my quest done. D:

Yeah, it's extremely hard to get a lot of Gaia gold. You pretty much have to buy and sell stuff, not to mention donate to Gaia to get letters with items in them. And all the pretty things are expensive. <_<

I dug up a couple Cloud cosplays I had for my character... I got a couple friends to make the avatar edits and I made the signatures.

The lowest price I beleive is about 8k, but the highest is 900k, you can check the prices at the marketplace if you want to confirm that if you want.
