So, how would you try to trick people?

Example (RL):
OMG I'm going to shave my head!

Example (Internet):
Well, those CloTis finally convinced me at last...

Post 'em all here ;)

How would I? I don't know about that, but I can share an April Fool's story. :P

Two years ago, I was dating this guy. Two of my friends named Kara and Katherine were really immature, and asked me after every single time I saw him if we had had sex (I know, this is going to get weird but bare with me). I just got so sick of it that I decided to pull an April Fool's joke on them: I would pretend I was pregnant.

Of course, that presented a little bit of a problem since it's hard to convince your friends of something like that on April Fool's Day. So me and some of my other friends created a plan. Throughout the month of March, we dropped little hints of my pregnancy. For example, I'd complain of strong smells and ran to go to the bathroom one time during lunch after complaining of feeling sick. I did this for a month, and the other conspirators helped out by gossiping with Kara and Katherine about how my boyfriend and I had sex without a condom.

By April Fool's Day, we already had them believing on their own that I was pregnant. During lunch that day, I acted really distant and preoccupied. When Kara and Katherine finally asked me what was wrong, I told them that I was pregnant. They didn't believe me at first, but then (with the help of my unmatched acting skills) I cried! They felt so bad, and they offered to come with me to CVS after school to get a home pregnancy kit.

When I finally told them it was a joke, that a bunch of us had been planning it out for a month, and that I hadn't even had sex with my boyfriend, they were shocked. They still haven't lived down the humiliation because I soooo got them.

It's been a rather serious day for me, so no jokes, lol. Bit oh wow, that story reminds me of a joke gone wrong for me and my now husband. :lmao:

We were bored during science, which we happened to have together, so we started talking with some friends about random stuff, which I don't remember how it lead to us joking that I was pregnant. I happen to have some very gullible friends, and I happen to be a great actress, so it was fun for awhile, then we revealed the truth by the end of class and had a great laugh. All was fine. Fast forward to after lunchtime.

I was happily enjoying lunch with my Drama buddies, when suddenly my mom comes rushing over to me. I thought nothing of it because my mom works at the school, but then she wanted to talk to me alone with my b/f. She then proceeds to ask me if I'm pregnant. I had temporarily forgotten the joke and stared at her and said, "No......" Then she gravely starts mentioning how maybe people are talking about it because I've gained weight and are saying that I'm pregnant. I stared, then started cracking up. Apparently a nosy girl I knew was listening to us earlier and felt the need to tell my mother and just about every other person in our school about me being pregnant! We had to find her and tell her the truth, and do major damage control because she really was the type who knew everyone, cheerleader who ended up being Student Body President. >_< I never joked about that again!
