Title: Clerisy: The Definition
Description: as dictionary.com says.

As we are Cleris, we've all probably used the word "Clerisy" to describe some CxA occurrence that was incredibly awesome.
But did you know that word actually exists?
I subscribe to Dictionary.com's Word of the Day (don't. say. anything.), and this was Wednesday's word:
| QUOTE |
clerisy \KLER-uh-see\, noun:
The well educated class; the intelligentsia.
The clerisy of a nation, that is, its learned men, whether poets, or philosophers, or scholars. -- Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Table-Talk
Our academic clerisy, I'm sure, could point out factual inadequacies, along with examples of cultural bias. -- Robert D. Kaplan, "And Now for the News", The Atlantic, March 1997 |
...
Yes, this is borderline spam.
But you can't tell me you didn't LMAO at this even once. XD
