Hi guys, I might not be posting in the right section but this seems appropriate.

I know I don't post much these days but I haven't seen Anastar in a long time and I noticed it's been almost a year since she's posted here. I know she had upcoming surgery awhile ago.

Does anyone know any more details about what might have happened?

Nobody's really sure what's happened. Last time the other mod's heard from her she was going in for a serious medical checkup, so I guess we're kind of assuming she's taking care of that. I'm just praying she's okay :sad:

Yeah, that really worries me, though... :( If she went in for a serious medical check-up and didn't come back... doesn't that imply that something serious was found and that she is currently dealing with it? I wish she would just drop by and let us know if she is okay. :sad:

I'm with you guys, I really miss Aly aswell. My good thoughts and prayers go out to her and hope that one day she will return to us. Our recent Awards contest showed that she's still very much loved here.

...has anyone tried PMing her? And when was the last time she PM'd/emailed anyone?

We've been trying to contact her since she disappeared. She hasn't responded... :sad:

Yes, Aly has returned. She has been really busy with real life issues, but she is okay! She may not have much time to post anymore, though.

We had a major hugfest on the Astral Plane when she posted in Staff Chat. :wub: Like FF_G says, she's super super busy at the moment, she's only had time to come back and let us know she's okay because she had holidays from work. But she's fine, so no more need to worry about her. I'm sure when she has time, she'll come say hi and you can all tacklehug her to death. :lol:

I'm so sorry that all of you were worried. Raist was right that I was about to have a serious medical exam shortly before I left. My doctor thought I had cancer, but after getting a biopsy, it turned out to be clear. I'll just have to keep a watch on it.

Basically, though, I was just very stressed out and needed some time off. I intended to come back, but then I found a job that's very demanding. Even though I love it, it doesn't leave me with much free time.

I'm really VERY happy to see that you guys have kept the Cleris love alive. It's great to see this forum so active with great pro-Cleris essays being posted, beautiful CxA fanart and graphics, Cleris fanfiction, contests, and more!

And thank you for thinking of me, everyone. I'm sorry that I worried you so much, but I promise not to disappear like this again. You're all terrific! :grouphug:
